Do you guys/gals see this a lot? In the last two years I personally see this a whole shitload.

it’s so easy to hide behind a computer and talk trash, would they do this if they were face to face.

What do you think? Would you talk to people the same way you would even type or reply or attack someone online?

would you review the SP you just saw and tell her verbally everything you were going to write?

Ha!
You mean like typing to some mutherfucker you'll rip off their arm and beat em with the wet end?
No, don't see any of that.

But seriously, spend time in almost any public forum and you will see this. It's been there since (and still) in the old newsgroups, its there in comments sections, public forums, etc etc.
Visit the politics forums here and you'll see it from the trolls that live under the bridge.

I don't write anything that I am not comfortable talking to the person about. Maybe it wasn't always true but these days I try my best.

Before Twitter, forums, comment sections there was call in sports talk. All the tough guys with death threats for the player that striking outs or misses a shot.
Too many angry people in the world today and social media has given them a platform to word vomit.

Keyboard warriors, white knights, virtue signaling run amok, the interest has brought all of that and more into our homes 24/7. People are far too quick to attack and not try to understand or empathize. At least here, you can flag that garbage and the warriors can be removed along with their venom. We finally seem to be rid of 2 or 3 of the worst offenders, but every time we have a period of relative peace, another crop of trolls, or perhaps old ones reincarnated, return to put the mods to work again. It's the cost of doing business in today's age.

If you cannot share what you intend to write with the lady you just saw, perhaps you shouldn't be writing it at all. You can deliver constructive criticism without being an asshole. You can tell the truth without resorting to being brutal about it. If you can't, I will be in touch with you soon enough, or another mod will and you will see how the rules are applied.

I can read rude and stupid things on forums and just laugh at it rather than get angry or offended.

It is the internet and you need a thick skin to be on here.

I try not to think about how many trolls are out there. I just do my own thing and leave well enough alone.

Yes, yes, and been there done that.....not with the SP scene, but from a community FB group that didn't like what I had to say. Then when the admins organized a live meet, the person I was arguing with confronted me, and ....well, it didn't work out so well with him... He left the meet, went home and left the FB group. Funny how it happened, but kind of sad too, because everyone saw how diplomatic I was being, he was just too insulated his digital space that he never realized the real world existed....People were more impressed with me standing by my convictions in the real world, than shy away just to please people.....

would you review the SP you just saw and tell her verbally everything you were going to write?
....and explain what to who?.....Big Bubba Pimp Daddy outside? Or the other half of her bipolar personality that will blow the rape whistle or pull a weapon on you, when you're pushing for services she is blatantly shorting you on what was agreed before? Maybe call the cops? Not much one can do if a provider gave bad service, despite what she was promising. Best to just leave it alone, take what she gives, leave and write about it later, instead of confronting her directly about it just to be safe.

I mean, being fair, if it was a top-shelf VIP professional girl, or someone you've frequently see now and then, and she's having an off-day, and you're wondering why you're not getting great service you're used to. It wouldn't hurt to imply a lack of quality.

..but more often than not, most of these encounters in this hobby are one-time events between individuals, meeting a stranger, not knowing who they are or where they're from, getting intimate, and never seeing them again. They don't have much to gain or lose once the money changes hands, other than maintaining a good reputation for repeat business for as long as they intend to stay in the trade.

There is no anonymity online. Websites can get your IP address. There are ways to trace despite VPN. The more someone posts, the more they define themselves.

As in real life you have to be careful, about what you say and what you write. Have to think about to where your audience is, and who might be offended by your remarks.

Think for yourself, and always question the common belief.

Lets take a look at this word: Reconciliation
rec·on·cil·i·a·tion

1.
the restoration of friendly relations. "his reconciliation with your uncle"

Similar:

Reuniting; reunion; conciliation; reconcilement; pacification; appeasement; placating; propitiation; mollification;resolutions; resettlement; rectification; settling; resolving; mending; remedying; restoration of harmony; agreement; compromise; understanding; peace; an end to hostilities; amity; concord; rapprochement; détente; fence-mending; harmonizing; harmonization; synthesis; squaring; adjustment; balancing; syncretisation

Opposite:

Estrangement; alienation; feud; incompatibility

2.

the action of making one view or belief compatible with another.

"he aims to bring about a reconciliation between art and technology"

My online communication is way more thoughtful and kind than in person. Not to say that I’m a mean person IRL.

One difference is that I post my opinion online without someone asking. In person, if someone doesn’t ask, I won’t say anything. If someone asks I will tell them what I think.

I always remember that scene with Jim Carey in Liar Liar. The woman asks him if the sex was good and he says “I’ve had better.” Haha

My favourite scene in that film is when he says "I'd just like to get from my car to my workplace without being confronted by the downfall of western society". So true. At some point there's just too much broken shit out there to deal with personally.

Varies now
It sorts the wheat from the chaff.
At one time, wheat and chaff were separated by a flail and then by a threshing machine. Good medicine for trolls.
