You aren't really looking are you? I always say that once the unemployment rate hits 3%, that's it, because over and above some folks on welfare, at least 3% of population has no intention on working. I believe Greater Vancouver is at just above 4%.

HAHA !!! Too Funny. Get a grip buddy. Try Edmonton. Freeze your ass off in the winter and when the ice melts you get to dodge the gobs of spit all over the sidewalks. Every once in a while, I go downtown near the Citadel Theatre and the Winspear Concert Hall (I assume this is supposed to be the classy part of town). Not only do you have to watch your step on the sidewalks outside but ya gotta watch your step INSIDE. Same with people pissing in the elevator of both buildings. Can it get any more disgusting??? I realize every city has it stench in parkade stairwells but this is supposed to be the classy part of Edmonton. I won't even bother telling you about the slum areas !

Vancouver is a very large city. It is a great place to visit but I myself would not like to live there because of the number of rainy, cloudy days you have in a year. I spent one Christmas there and it was either cloudy or raining during the whole week

I prefer to live close to mountains near Canmore area. I enjoy mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking, downhill skiing, camping and relaxing by waterfall or river taking in the beautiful scenery .
Every city or town has its advantages and disadvantages, depends on the individual.

I am a bit disappointed with the way Van has developed in the last 30 years, it's just a hilly version of Toronto now. At one time it was really cool, now it seems like it's full of rich arrogant jerks. Robson used to such a great area, Kits was great, now everywhere is crawling with yuppies and their stupid BMWs and fancy coffee crap,yapping into their cells about how much their house is worth.
Yeah, Canmore is a million times nicer than Van.
