According to the rest of the world, Vancouver is one of the best city to live in . . . assuming you have the money to back up the lifestyle 
How can a white guy not score in Vancouver with Asian women coming over there ? Chinese women see millions Chinese guys all look the same brown eyes black hair. Surely they must want something else. I truly think white men in Vancouver might be in heaven there.

There are a lot of cons piling up for Vancouver, ridiculous traffic because of lack of infrastructure (very unnecessary for a small city like vancouver), do i need to say rain and overpriced everything, and a bit of lack of underground nightlife... Kinda feels like a big retirement home sometimes with too many rules and regulations, feels like there is a secret agenda to push youngsters away.
it's a beautiful city other than that with positive vibe everywhere, every city has its cons and pros. there is no such as perfect.

If your into sports/outdoors then vancouver is perfect. If not then you may as well be in another city because why else are you paying these crazy taxes?

i'm sorry you had such a negative experience of our beautiful city. Perhaps you were having a bad day? I know when i'm in a mood it doesnt matter what is put in fromt of me I hate it! There certinly is a dark and depressing side to our city but with all good things there is always something negative to offset it. One can always focus on the negatives anywhere that one goes. But what you choose to focus on will be all you see. Try changing what you are putting out there. Vancouver is full of friendly people, and there are plenty of friendly women. Attractive women often become tired of being relentlessly hit on so develop an attitude because many men think any degree of friendliness is an invitation. It is difficult to be as friendly as one might want to be without being constantly hounded. Did you try engaging with women that weren't hot? THe nightlife isnt fantastic if you are just going to bars but there are musicsal events, theatre, lounges and tons of fantastic restraunts. There's amazing scenery, lots of hiking and biking. and ium sure if you checking online you could find social groups, singles clubs etc. Maybe post something on craigslist looking for a local that is willing to show you around. I bet you'd have tons of friendly takers.
