8 days? Forget it. If you see her again, don't be too warm and signal to her you don't care. That'll be the best shot you have to recover any chance to get together with her.
I would drop into work and just ask if she lost your number or something like that. She might have been busy or something unexpected came up. The worst you'll get is a no.
If one owns a cell phone, texting IS included with all plans. No excuse!! If they can't call.......texting is the next SURE method. If it's been 8 days.......move on.
True. I get the first time playing it cool. I hate when they take a couple days to respond to a simple yes or no question, but they'll still have time to update their Facebook 10 times a day, and even more annoying they'll "like" something on you page; really? Everyone is always on their phones nowadays, theres really no reason to shoot back a quick text within the same day. If there busy all they have to do is say that.

Confession time- I changed my number I think one day after I posted this thread. This was the 1st lady I approached on a dating level since 2010 and it was too painful wait/take rejection . I will never know if she texted or called. 9 days of waiting was too painful and did not want to suffer more. I am a wimp at this stuff.
Felt like a fool waiting for something to happen. Days upon Days of no response. If she gave me a text saying " you're not my type" I would happily accept it. Maybe she does not want me to know her number if she texted a no to me.
That is seriously very weak. Did you explain to your friends and family why you all of a sudden have a new number? What if one day she really did text or call you? Yes rejections suck but life is not a Hollywood romance movie.
