It started out as a sidebar joke on Bill Maher show in 2016. Since then #45 has continually spun the conspiracy theory that the 2016 election was rigged. #45 won and that’s possibly one time he actually spoke the truth.

Fast forward to 2020 and the still unproven accusation about voter fraud will happen if states permit mail in voting. Many people have mailed in the votes for years and this includes foreign service and military personnel. Quite simply there is no credence to the statement ‘there will be widespread voter fraud’.

So what happens should #45 loses both the Electoral College and popular vote? He announces the election was rigged and he is staying and has the support of the Secret Service, Military etc.

It’s not a slam dunk that the Supreme Court will step in and state the election was fairly won by Democrats. Let’s not forget the Republican dominated SCOTUS voted to stop the vote count in 2000 which put #43 Bush Jr in the White House.

These are historical times and given #45’s penchant for supporting dictators even against advice from the US intelligence community; I just don’t have a feeling #45 will go quietly.

IF that happens, hopefully someone will take advantage of the 2nd ammendment that Trump so avidly supports and send a bullet through his skull.

The military will not back trump, he's a draft dodger. They call him bone spurs. Mattis and many other top former and current military brass would not piss on Trump if he was on fire. No way they back Donnie.

Would be scary if he were to lose but contest results, file suits, etc. Even if he loses by a landslide you can bet he’ll do lasting damage from Election Day to his successor’s oath of office. Can’t picture him even showing up to it ?.

The president of the US can only run for 2 terms, this was seen to by FDR in WW2, after he won his 3rd term (Today FDR is looked at as the most influential/best loved president of the USA, mainly because he did things for the working class people). Limits were put on the presidency (so that no man could rule like a King). The president is answearable to congress and the senate and to the people that vote him in through the Electoral vote.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the Master CPON, the USAF Master Chief Sgt and the Chief of the National Guard have all issued statements to members specifically supporting the Constitutional right of citizens to assemble and petition the government.

This is incredible and is a critical message to Trump.

The military oath is first and foremost to defend the Constitution, not the President.

During the Arab Spring in Egypt the military was called out to reinforce civilian authority and ended up turning on the goverment. Same in Ukraine and Russia. Trump is in dangerous waters. He has no friends in the military and has pissed off a lot of federal law enforcement

its certainly important that people are observing Trumps behavior with the military and what it means. he is a natural dictator. the DOJ now does his bidding. if he gets four more years then its just removal of military leaders to more yes men and tie that up too. and he has already "joked" about 12 years or 16 in office. getting his supporters ready if he sees the opportunity.

Ms Hunter, "the UN moving in".
If there is one thing Americans hate is a foreign power telling them what to do, especially the UN which is mostly financed by the US. UN troops on US soil will never happen. And who be stupid enough to put troops in the land of the assualt rifle and the lack of gun control laws.

The legislation was actually introduced to limit the president to 2 terms in 1947 when Truman was president.

Maybe he will pull a Putin or get Xiggy about it and re-org the rules to become supreme leader for life.

Naaa, this is the USA! ‘Merica! We got rules and standards.

Still waiting to see Pelosi and Shiff in steel courtroom cage. Then we will know the dictatorship has risen.

You are projecting something into the future that hasn’t happened. But for argument sake, say it did happen? He stayed on after his next term? Yes, that would make him a dictator, and I would say he’s a piece of shit! Now, suppose I project into the future that Obama’s DOJ is convicted of spying on Trump during the 2016, and people go to jail because of it? What would you think of Obama?

I will project into the future and say that neither scenario is very likely to happen, and I will go futher, and say both scenario's are very unlikely to happen. Trump does not have the courage to head up a revolution as shown when he went to "inspect the bunker under the Whitehouse" lol when it looked like protesters might over run the Whitehouse and as far as Obama spying on Trump in 2016? I suspect that the mods will remove your post Shakerod for posting tinhat right wing propoganda. Unfortunately, that means they will also remove my excellent reply ;-(
