One of my biggest gripes about vague reviews is a lack of reference to where one can find her ads or contact information.
Does she post on PERB, Craigslist, Leoslist, Backpages, Georgia Straight ads?

I will definitely bookmark this page for reference when I make my first review.
Welcome to PERB! And good idea to look back on this when you compose a review...

I think the OP take8easy summed it up nicely; relevant info is key, everything else is window dressing. We can argue merit of details all day; I happen to lean towards "less is more," but a little colour is nice. Occasionally one may come across someone exceptional in some regard outside the boundaries of normal details, in review of whom that extra colour may provide good insight, as well.

For example if the service seems either really mechanical (or to the contrary feels very free flowing and unscripted) that falls outside your standard "setting appointment was easy, incall conveniently located and well appointed, photos real, services X, Y & Z, $$$ damage, contact at 867-5309" type of review.

Finally, quite often some peripheral detail (some!) make a review more readable IMHO, however I've been accused of being a bit verbose myself, albeit not in a review but rather here in forum, so it's certainly possible that my humble opinion doesn't represent the majority. Just the same, those are my thoughts.

reviews are completely up to the client, he has no incentive or advantage by posting a review, doesn't get paid to do it, etc. It's almost a favor for the SP, and the community, and no one pays to see reviews. So just be thankful for what you already have now - other customers sharing intimate details and taking the time out of their day to do it :)

I think pooners should never say if the SP isn't a clock-watcher and they stayed XXX amount of time without paying. Guys who abuse the system will try to do the same and probably see how long they can go overtime without paying. It can throw appointments off track not to mention taking advantage of said provider.

Include phone number last 4 digits!!

Makes searching sooooo much easier
But then, who uses the search function??
Especially if the SP has a three letter name. Impossible to search for Tia, Sue, May, Ann without a number.

I agree with you on Bb's reviews. Very thorough, entertaining, enlightening and with a great personal perspective.
I like entertaining reads.
However, I think most members are either unwilling to put in the time necessary for and/or are incapable of this type of prose.
And a lot of members also aren't interested in taking the time to read through lengthy reviews such as these.
Oh well, each to their own.
I for one appreciate the effort and flair that Birdboy and others put into their writings.
