I will definitely bookmark this page for reference when I make my first review.
Welcome to PERB! And good idea to look back on this when you compose a review...
I think the OP take8easy summed it up nicely; relevant info is key, everything else is window dressing. We can argue merit of details all day; I happen to lean towards "less is more," but a
little colour is nice. Occasionally one may come across someone exceptional in some regard outside the boundaries of normal details, in review of whom that extra colour may provide good insight, as well.
For example if the service seems either really mechanical (or to the contrary feels very free flowing and unscripted) that falls outside your standard "setting appointment was easy, incall conveniently located and well appointed, photos real, services X, Y & Z, $$$ damage, contact at 867-5309" type of review.
Finally, quite often some peripheral detail (
some!) make a review more readable IMHO, however I've been accused of being a bit verbose myself, albeit not in a review but rather here in forum, so it's certainly possible that my humble opinion doesn't represent the majority. Just the same, those are my thoughts.
