Yes, I think everyone has had their say. Some more than the others. Let people make their own opinion. This experience and this thread has been very “taxing” on me. Oh that sounds like a pun.
Because CRA doesn’t care if you generate revenue legally or illegally - they see all money exchanging hands for services or goods as income. So technically any MP or SP could be audited and asked to pay any back taxes owing. Happens to all kinds of shady businesses. Death and taxes, baby.

Please read my posts again. Again I have no issues with that either. I just want the SP to be upfront about it (in her ads, esp Tryst or Leolist, if one is advertising there). Why leave an ambiguity?
What’s he discriminating against, pretty sure he doesn’t care that you charge gst, ($22.50 on a $450 date is nothing), he could have taken it out of the $50 he had for the tip, he is wrong for not looking at your website (as your ad states), his reasoning for cancelling shouldn’t matter
That's not even remotely what discrimination is, and he cancelled on you for upselling him after the fact. You could've simply asked him his reason, like an adult, before going and using his private correspondence for a comedy routine to laugh at him with your buddies about being too broke to afford it, which certainly wasn't the case. Clearly, nobody here is discriminating against such workers, or else we wouldn't be here in the first place.
WS, I do admit that but how many ads of the same SP am I supposed to check? I see an ad on Tryst, I read the content and if the rates etc works for me, I contact the sp. This is purely sneakiness or it would seem that way anyway.
