so we're going to pretend you didn't bring this to perb yourself a few days ago then deleting said thread. He started this thread, not me. He threw a hissy fit about having to pay tax, not me. Sounds like he’s the drama

Wouldn’t say completely anonymous… you mentioned take8easy from perb and I don’t think he cancelled last minute and it’s okay for someone to change there minds.Completely anonymously. I never post info that could identify anyone. The only reason anyone would be upset is because they’re ashamed of what they’ve said.

Hissy Fit : (A new definition ) Cancelling an appointment 17 hours ahead,( because of disagreement on rates and deceptive advertising) apologizing to the provider, not criticizing her on socials, be ripped by the provider, being called named, ridiculed and then tell your side of story (only after being told that by others about posts on X) without even mentioning the name or even the rates of the lady.He started this thread, not me. Are you going to reschedule now that you know exact change is available?Hissy Fit : (A new definition ) Cancelling an appointment 17 hours ahead,( because of disagreement on rates and deceptive advertising) apologizing to the provider, not criticizing her on socials, be ripped by the provider, being called named, ridiculed and then tell your side of story (only after being told that by others about posts on X) without even mentioning the name or even the rates of the lady.
I guess from now on hissy fits would not include the following:
1. false advertising
2. not taking rejection very well
3. calling names and mocking clients simply for cancelling appointments
4. total disregard of other people’s privacy (I bet pooners are going to feel safer booking with this lady now)
5. everything else that this lady deems fit as per her opinion.
Oh I didn’t realize his legal name was “take8easy”Wouldn’t say completely anonymous… you mentioned take8easy from perb and I don’t think he cancelled last minute and it’s okay for someone to change there minds.
Never posted DMs.I'm pretty sure posting DMs is an infarction, at least for regular members. The mods have also said more than once, that paid advertisers need to obey the rules too. Not sure why you are an exception.
You definitely could have said this was me, no worries. I’m proud to advocate to be treated like other businesses.Hissy Fit : (A new definition ) Cancelling an appointment 17 hours ahead,( because of disagreement on rates and deceptive advertising) apologizing to the provider, not criticizing her on socials, be ripped by the provider, being called named, ridiculed and then tell your side of story (only after being told that by others about posts on X) without even mentioning the name or even the rates of the lady.

Pretty sure he’s the Karen. Karens are typically nitpicky, discriminatory, demanding customers. The types to ask to speak to the manager. Refusing to patronise a business because they charge tax like any other business is peak Karen 😂Sounds like u saved your money, .....enjoy it somehwere else
End of day, no actual appt was set and enough time was given to not proceed .... Her running to social media to out the conversation is very 'Karen' like
She's still a misandrist though.Okay, I don’t want to wade into the he-said, she-said morass. Nor do I wish to pretend to speak on behalf of Charlee or any of the Perb members who have chimed in on this clearly contentious issue. I just want to add a little context to the discussion.
I’ve been a member of Perb now for about 8 years and in the time that I’ve been aware of Charlee (and in her previous incarnation, the handle which I cannot recall), she has been on the cutting edge of advocacy for sex workers. Sometimes this rubs men the wrong way because, let’s be frank, she is no shrinking violet. She follows in the footsteps of a long tradition of women who express opinions that the status quo may be not comfortable with. In charging GST, she is simply stating - and rather courageously, I must say - is that sex work is like any other form of labour. She is attempting to take it out margins for the benefit of women and men alike.
To me, as a man who participates in the sex trade in the shadows, I’m grateful for the advocacy she does. I’m neither offended, nor threatened, by the fact she charges GST.
I'm pretty sure he said it's not the fact you charge tax but that your ad in tyst didn't advertise itPretty sure he’s the Karen. Karens are typically nitpicky, discriminatory, demanding customers. I am all for decriminalizing this trade. I am fully against not treating s*x workers with respect and dignity. I never short pay or haggle over prices. Read my reviews from last five or six years, you wont find a single sentence bad mouthing an so. Do you think that’s because all the sessions are fulfilling? No. Only time I would post something negative is if the SP was a scammer or was misleading etc. But I know that these women do need business and I chalk up even my somewhat bad experiences as “ymmv”. Things would be different when I had just getting my feet (and fingers) wet in this hobby. She's still a misandrist though.
Her advocacy would be much more impactful if she refrained from attacking others, aligned her actions with her beliefs, and avoided being hypocritical.
Additionally, many other providers prefer to distance themselves from her, which raises questions about her reputation.
We all also should recognize that there are many providers who would choose to operate as they currently do, even if this were legal, primarily for the benefits of tax advantages and discretion.
That’s a valid point but the point I am making is that I am willing to pay any additional surcharges be it GST, PST, or In call fee, room preparation fee, towels fee, or whatever other fee but the provider should be very clear about it. She just should not use what seem like sneaky ways of making more money. If buying sex is illegal in Canada, why would I pay GST on it?

It’s not sneaky. I pay GST. I want to buy a condo, and I can’t do that if I don’t claim my income. No other kind of business includes GST in their pricing. That’s a valid point but the point I am making is that I am willing to pay any additional surcharges but the provider just should not use what seem like sneaky ways of making more money.
Charge me 500 and say it includes GST, that works for me! Absolutely it does!
