I am travelling to Japan this summer and was wondering what the escort scene is like there. I know there is one, as it's very common practice for men to have affairs in Japanese culture. It's not viewed the same way as here. But, are there places where you can choose a lady and pay for services just like here? Are these places underground, or clearly labelled as massage parlours? I also don't want to be ripped off or get the upsell. I cannot really find any websites on this, or much info other than it exists, but I am there to sight-see, and just wanted an experience while I was there. I am visiting Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. If you have specific places would really appreciate it.

If you're a foreigner with no Japanese speaking ability, I'd recommend looking up tokyohentaiclub. It's an escort agency where you book the girl, meet up with them then usually go off to a love hotel. Prices were around $300 CAD when I went a few years back and their website is in English.

If you don't speak Japanese like a native, most of the massage parlours would simply say NO to you. Some that accept foreigners would require a high premium. It's not worth it. But there are two good options in my experience.

1). Soapland in Tokyo. An expensive but truly unique experience that you cannot find elsewhere. You can expect to have your JAV fantasy coming true. Don't go to the low end ones though. A good two hour package would usually cost $800 - $1000.

2). Shinchi in Osaka, including Matsushima and Tobita. Girls at Tobita are better. I was amazed by how pretty those young J girls were - some even small J idol group level. Dont go to Kabukicho in Tokyo. For everywhere else, navigating on your own will be fucked up and generally lots of weird fees. As a rough example, if you see a website listing, say, 20,000Y/hr dont be surprised if the rate for foreigner is actually 35,000Y plus bunch of weird fees. Osaka good too but top quality girls are way better in Tokyo in my opinion. If you’re thinking soapland cuz they are known for raw action, you will only get covered fs as a foreigner. most I have paid was around 50,000 yen included everything (FS, outcall price, and add on services). Yes, DH isn’t perfect and you would have to dig around for good stores (or maybe the girls wasn’t comfortable?). I’ve been there and a few bait and switch lol.

All of the visiting JP providers at XDS and whatever in Vancouver are all typically working at Delivery Health agencies in JP… their service here is basically the minimum you would expect in JP… the reviews here are glowing right??

yea unfortunately they got you. If you would like to give a 2nd chance (which I highly recommend) book and search through cityheaven.net and do DH service. It has good legit reviews and reputable stores with fairly reasonable prices. But still do your research as reviews and photos can be faked.

I’d also join/search Japanese specific forums version like PERB, they usually provide which stores does bait and switches. They also provide info regarding different stores sending the same girls despite different pictures being listed.

Reporting back: no luck while I was there. There were plenty of massage parlours, but none that would accept foreigners. Some of the places had websites, but were clearly not catering to English speaking tourists. It's strange that in a such an extremely fetishized culture, they would not have this. I mean, all you have to do is go to the bottom floors of many shopping centres to see hundreds of young girls all dressed up in various anime/cosplay outfits looking like their favourite characters. Make sure it’s not bait and switch. Meet at the lobby first and don’t say your room number. If it’s too good to be true it’s too good to be true. Also mostly the price is just for her time and transportation, the deed and extras is an additional charge.

People saying to save their money for home and that Japan is not worth it is just crazy advice. I haven't had the time to read through all of this thread since I just discovered it but I plan to come back and read through. Many of my favorite experiences with providers have been in Japan. Obviously you'll have access to much more if you can speak Japanese but even if you can't There are so many great options and a decent amount more affordable than here in BC as well.
TAG (Tokyo adult guide) is the first place you should be looking for information.
