Booked a session on June 30th with Evie king for July 2nd and paid a $50 mandatory deposit for new clients since she is quite reputable and there are great reviews for her.

I received a message the day before the appointment asking to reschedule due to building repairs. I replied bit late but did not receive any further response. I followed up again closer to the appointment time and still did not hear back, so I assumed the appointment was no longer going ahead.

Shortly before the appointment time, I messaged again requesting a refund of the deposit due to the lack of confirmation. I then received a response stating deposits are non-refundable and that asking for a refund was “unattractive,” though rescheduling was offered.

My concern was mainly around inconsistent communication and lack of clarity leading up to the appointment. While I understand deposit policies generally apply when clients cancel, I feel there should be more flexibility and clarity when the provider is the one rescheduling and the client is unable to rebook within a reasonable time frame.

Hmm... I checked her ad on Tryst. Nowhere does it state plainly or implicitly that in the event that she reschedules on your (in this case on short notice) that she gets to keep the deposit. It's neither in her ad or a reasonable thing to do.

Based on what you shared you handled the situation reasonably.

If she is the one who cancels you should not be the one paying a penalty.
True! I’ve never had issues sending deposits to reputable SPs before, but this experience has made me more mindful moving forward.

I honestly never would've expected this from her. Hope it all gets sorted.

Unfortunately, I'll have to let this go. She has made it clear that the deposit is non-refundable. The only option offered was to rebook, which unfortunately won't work since her availability is limited, and I won't be around for some time either.

It's shame that she made a fuss out of $50 when she was the one who cancelled.

Don't let this deter you from sending deposits to reputable companions. Most girls clearly specify in their ad or website that if they cancel, they refund the deposit.

come on, you only know half the story! and then don't forget there is what really happened! take it all with a grain of salt. lol.
You're right, there’s always another perspective, but my review is based on my direct experience and the communication I received, and it was shared in good faith. Just to add, I do support deposits as a way to prevent time wasting for both the client and the provider. My concern was simply how the deposit was handled when the cancellation came from the provider's side.

I have seen both Evie and Vanessa at their past and present hosting apartments. There have been a few times when appointments were canceled due to "building maintenance" schedules.I can see why this situation may require cancelation of appointments as the apartment may be scheduled to be entered by maintenance. However, I do agree that the it would be frustrating to pay a deposit and not have it returned if the sp cancels the appointment. Evie has been very professional in her interactions with me. She has been clear with communication and scheduling.

Maybe reach out to her one more time, and politely press that while asking for a deposit may be "unattractive", not returning the deposit is "unprofessional". I believe Evie is a professional and may have not thought through this situation.

This is based on the assumption that your communication was polite.

Coming from a completely biased point of view, clients always worry about us seeing their names on an e-transfer, there’s a pretty logical reason why she didn’t send it back? As if she did, her real name would be shown. Only option is to rebook whenever is convenient for either party. End of discussion imo 🤗

im suprised she accepted the deposit. ussually it says the persons name if they accept it as well. From my experience with both Evie and vanessa, I did send them each a deposit to confirm the booking but they didnt deposit it. I promised them id pay in full in person. So technically, if that was the case (not saying it was) and the deposit wasnt accepted you should be able to cancel it yourself.

I’m unsure where this idea that your legal name gets show when you accept. On my end, in my personal life, it shows whatever I named them in my phone. It does not show their real name whatsoever 🤗

Well in my experience I don’t dig that far into my statements as I do not care, and in my emails it just says whatever I put them as in my phone. Maybe because my account is just my personal one. But again, it makes sense why she didn’t wanna send it back, and I feel clients arnt taking into consideration that aspect. To blacklist a girl because she doesn’t want her legal name out there? Seems silly to me. Again, it’s my opinion on the matter, I will not comment anymore just in worry of the mods. I put my 2 sense maybe where it wasn’t wanted but 🤗 again, just my opinion on the matter.

Well, it could be returned the same way some of us do deposits. Amazon gift card. You can just send the gift card code. If you dont want to use your own Amazon account to buy the card, use cash to buy a gift card at a store and send a picture of the card or the number.

I do appreciate that all types of experiences are shared. We can use the shared info as we see fit. As a regular, this wouldn't make me stop seeing a provider. However, if I was shopping, it may have an impact on my decision to pursue a session. But 1 review is never enough for me. I need multiple reviews and the source of the reviews would be factors as well.

Thanks HM57 for sharing. It always helpful to hear others perspectives. We all still make our own decisions, regardless of the positive or negative review, or the call to jump on the bandwagon or the rally cry boycott.

There is no anonymous way of sending a secure, returnable deposit. Sending a picture of a card does not confirm that it is valid, she has to redeem it, and hence cannot return it.

I guess you could courier cash to the lady in advance.

I don't think I'd ever be in the market for a visit to a lady that requires a deposit personally. Either they'd be too "high end" for my needs, or too sketchy to risk a deposit.

One thing I think most reputable providers would take into consideration is whether you have a credible presence on a review board like this one. I can see them making an exception for a long time member here, especially one with many fair reviews. Much as we want to know an SP is real and reliable, they want the same. I still remember booking a visit with a lady who was a local, but had moved and returned occasionally. She checked my PERB reviews and was hesitant to book because I had mentioned in a review that the SP was not as toned as claimed, and she worried that I might leave a negative review of her because while she had an awesome body, she had a little tummy. I laughed when she told me, but was amazed that she did that deep a dive on my presence here.

Newbies looking at unknown SP's wanting a deposit is Russian Roulette, and I wish you luck. If I was in that space, I'd stick to the well reviewed, safe options.
