Emotional detachment after intimacy

I totally agree Visaman....I find a connection each and every time I am with someone. The connection will of course be different each time, some deeper than others, but a connection all the same. I personally can not detach myself as this would go against my nature and what a boring job it would become....and I love my job.

Maybe I misunderstood myself, but I don't remember writing anywhere that I detached myself from my clients. Quite the opposite, actually, and my reviews say as much. There are many people that have had great or even mind-blowing sex that didn't involve emotion. Even if you were very fond of that person, knew them for years or you just met. When the relationship as a whole involves feelings and emotions, then it's safe to say that the sex does as well. When there is no relationship, other than the sex, then it becomes a sexual relationship. Come on. Nobody here has never had a "fuck-buddy" or a "friend with benefits"? Did it mean you detached yourself from them everytime you had sex? No, you just accepted and understood that the relationship was the sex. You don't need emotion in order to have great sex. And that doesn't require a 'detachment'. Like I said before. Don't take it so personally. Just have fun, 'cause dammit, it IS fun!!

Does anybody understand what I'm saying? I hope so, then mabye you can explain it better than I did......

IMHO never date your SP, or allow yourself to blur the line between a good time and wanting to make her a real GF, like someone else said it's a reciepie for disaster.

If you have nerves of steel and can hack talking "shop" with your girlfriend about the guys cock she sucked on 10 min ago, or how she is kinda "sensitive" down there and maybe we can just cuddle tonight then more power to ya. I was in this situation and thought I could hack it, I was wrong. I swore up and down my next GF will have nothing to do with this business.

Like someone else said I may fall in "Like" with someone and keep tham as my flavour of the month for awile, but since it's not a real GF how long can you see the same person once or twice a week and not get board of the situation.

Thank god there's a different chick on every corner to keep my interest fromm gaining to much momentum for just one.
