From my travels thru https://perb.cc I see a couple of items that bother me a lot ...

1. There is a notion that "I`m okay because I`ve been tested"
2. There are a lot of questions showing a strong desire for unsafe sex practices

Please review the threads about BBBJ and look at the health nurse questions to get an appreciation of points 1 and 2.

Why so many requests for BBBJ ?

One answer may be that most porn videos show BBBJ and DATY unprotected and maybe a 50 /50 mix of condom use in sexual intercourse ... Maybe Perberts feel that is the current standard ...

IT IS NOT.

The porn industry especially in California has a program where PROFESSIONALS are regularly tested and have unprotected sex within that tested group. They have an incentive to keep working and to stay healthy so they follow the protocol. The group is small and well documented (However it fails when one of the group goes to Brazil (Mike in Brazil ) has risky sex outside the group, gets HIV, and then has unprotected sex back in California )

This type of program would not work in Vancouver as the group is large, undocumented and there is an incentive to cheat.

Is testing effective ?

The test result is valid once you have tested clean for say six months. It becomes meaningless the moment you have unsafe sex. I would say that a client`s claim that he has been tested clean is meaningless. An SP`s claim that she has tested clean is more believable but that claim is meaningless the moment she engages in a risky activity.

Questions posed to Health Nurse ?

Most of the questions reflect a desire for an unsafe sex practice.

One of the words lacking in the HN thread is LATEX. Most of the clients complain about latex.
More troubling is that latex is rarely mentioned in the answers.

Most of the answers are based on "studies" which are based on the general population.
That population has a much lower risk profile than your average Perbert
It is troubling that the answer doesn`t reflect the real risks to the average Perbert.

Do a bit of searching and ask "What is safe sex " ... You`d think the answer would be easy to find on https://perb.cc .... Maybe that you can`t readily find it the most troubling thought of all.

Stella, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

I don't know if you are in the business, or were, or whatever, but obviously your concerns are not everybodies concerns.

The ladies will do what they have to in order to do business, the guys will shop for what they want before they buy.

If you aren't selling what they want they will go elsewhere and you will be safe.

A lot of the ladies on here advertise with the disclaimer that, " that they are only selling time, companionship, and what happens behind closed doors is between two consenting adults." Well, if time is all you are selling, they why worry about safe sex ? If you do decide the other party is doable then how and to what extent is up to the two of you, just as it is between any other two adults on this planet, or in this "hobby."

RIGHT.

And you should read the thread "What's with all the requests for BBBJ "
There are a lot of Perberts asking for unsafe sex ... and some of the ladies may have to risk their health in order to do business

You should be concerned and not dismiss the risk with "how and to what extent is up to the two of you ... "

The rest of your post is drivel. A drinking horse ? WTF ... Concern about safe sex is not everybodies concern ? It should be ..

I should read what thread ?? You sure it's not the BBFS thread you're referring to ?
As to drivel, you're sure spouting your share. "Some ladies may have to risk their health in order to do business" what kind of crap is that ? They have a choice, yes or no just as they have a choice of being in this business or not. Concern as to health issues are the individuals responsibility, and are none of your business or anybody else. If go to an SP and you concerned about your health, then ask for BB service, if she agrees, leave and tell her why. If she doesn't agree, stay and enjoy, if she'll let you.
As to the drinking horse, think about it, but since you're probably some youngster that caught the clap first time out, let me explain. No matter how many posts you or anybody else makes about safe sex, it doesn't mean anybody will change their sexual practices or requests.

I stand corrected .. The correct thread is BBFS !! Full Service without protection !!
WTF ... Perberts are even more ignorant of a safe-sex concept than I thought.

I honestly thought the request was for BBBJ.

Anyways ... Thanks for your post uncleg ... I may have been a bit to critical of you verbiage by calling it drivel. But when you have to explain your cliche it does reduce to drivel.

I'd like to point out that my "drivel" is a paraphrase of your only valid point in your first post ...

You said : "The ladies will do what they have to in order to do business, the guys will shop for what they want before they buy."
And I said : "some of the ladies may have to risk their health in order to do business "

Given the topic under discussion I'm sure you can see the congruency of the ideas expressed ...

Anyways ... Keep posting ... You nudge a Perbert a bit and what do you find ... and

Your idea on an individual's responsibility is interesting ... Can we label you as a " me first - fuck you" kind of creep ?

PS ... Your last line "No matter how many posts you or anybody else makes about safe sex, it doesn't mean anybody will change their sexual practices or requests. " is wrong ... people have changed.

Having to explain a cliche, merely means the person it is explained to is to young or to dumb to understand it. It does not make it drivel.

Label me as a "me first - fuck you" kind of creep, interesting concept, but points to you being in the same mindset as the various conspiracy nuts that have passed though this forum. Your way or resort to insults.

Have fun with your crusade, others will have fun with theirs.

I actually agree with your concerns Stella_Hardon.

But I also agree with uncleg that where there are buyers, there will always be sellers. It's the way of the world.

As for the rapid increase in demand for "bareback" services, it can only lead to one thing. More STD's.
Unfortunately, that's also the way of the world.

Some people can only learn lessons the hard way.

So sad....

Anyways ... Maybe a BBBJ is preferred over a CBJ because you "don`t get the same level of sensation"
Maybe as we get older the hardware gets a bit worn out ?
Maybe to much solo practice ?

I think most of us understand the difference between 'porn' and 'sex with escorts'.

We do??

Most of the answers are based on "studies" which are based on the general population.
Yes, it's called 'science'; estimates are drawn from empirical observation, not guesswork.

That population has a much lower risk profile than your average Perbert
Unsubstantiated. You are assuming that the 'general population' only practices safe sex and doesn't engage in risky behaviours.

Who cares. Yeah there seems to be more BBFS offered now than before, but I'll bet there was lots of BBFS offered privately before, it's just now more in the open. So what!!! If you wanna play safe, put on a hat even for blow jobs. If you wanna take the risk, go fuck her BBFS, in the ass even!!!

Stella is an inexperienced worry wart, and needs to live life a bit more before writing a book about his all-encompassing pool of knowledge.

Anybody who obsesses about the risks of unsafe sex is someone who wants to do it badly but is trying to convince themselves it's ok, or has already done it is and is trying to convince themselves they're ok.

I've been pooning for about 10 years now - on average probably once a month. That's 120 encounters, give or take. I've never been offered BBFS. Having said that, I've never asked for it either. Have you guys been offered??? How popular is it? Wondering if I've just had my head in the sand.

1. Never been offered.

2. In the Canadian world of pooning, i'd say it happens in less than 1% of sessions. So not very popular.

3. Search "bareback" on this site for threads on the subject, including opinions on the frequency of occurrence.

4. I'd suggest those who are long time regulars with an unattached SP are more likely to be considered for this activity.

The more reading one does about the likelihood of catching hiv thru traditional vaginal intercourse, the more one realizes it is not as easy to get as some think. Just take a pee and wash up well after. I'm not kidding here, just kinda drunk, and well-read.
