I didn't draw my conclusion from what the media told me, I drew it from what I see in the general public. A growing swath of people don't have cable & don't watch the news. And people want everything on demand, that's why Netflix is doing so well. This is both a technical & generational divide.
yes, cause you heard it, Donald hears stuff too :blabla:
and how many people do you know? 1000? lol
I heard the average person meets, maybe 10,000 in their lifetime, haha, pretty small sample
facts, who needs em
and everyone has a shot at becoming a millionaire in the US too, again, don't line up with facts
people aren't watching tv anymore now than they were before, including the news, people didn't have cable when I was growing up in the 70's 80's, some didn't have a phone, some still don't
they got their news from the moron they talked to then as well, now the morons are just doing it with the gossip on Facebook, (look 3 lines down) lol
some now don't have the internet either, shocking, I know
maybe it's on different platforms, but, Netflix has barely 35M US subscribers, it's estimated there are over 100 million homes with at least one tv there
same bullshit, different pile
people didn't watch the news in droves before or read the paper on a daily basis, just like most don't watch TV religiously or ever have
that's the reason shows with plots/story-lines don't do well with the moronic masses, it takes a commitment, an IQ big enough to follow along those complicated twists and turns, just like the news/staying informed does
Oprah was a huge success, she had about 10million watching her, out of what 300? look at the ratings, they're a huge success if they get a fraction of the pop, still the same for shows today, music and movies as well, it's BS spin
barely 10% of the population watches/ed TV on a regular basis before, still
the cord cutting, again, look at the actual numbers, not anywhere as dramatic as they like to spin it, in Canada, it's minor, last stat I saw, don't think it was even 1% loss
most people just added streaming/internet, long way to go before it's done
the actual numbers don't support it's demise, just the lack of ability to rape the public like they used to, it's just switching over to data
they need to adapt, not subsidies, which is what all the bitching, specially in Canada is all aboot
