It was last night that I saw towards the end of Canucks - Las Vegas game. Around 9-15 pm I think.
During the 30 second ad, they show different couples kissing. I think there were four in total and one of them for sure were two guys, in beards, kissing. The whole thing lasted for a fraction of a second. I quickly rewinded my PVR to confirm and sure I was right. I wanted to look closely again later so I kept it on the same channel, but someone changed the channel accidentally so I couldn't rewind.
I guess times have changed. I am not against homosexuality at all. Heck, I watch homosexual porn all the time (ahem, ... female homosexuals, just for the records). Nothing against gays either although I just think I can't watch them do it. But I think one's sexuality is one's own business and what two grown up consenting adults do between them is totally there business, even it means a sword fight. Also, on a different topic, what cartoon characters or Disney princesses one eyes or masturbates to, is also no one else's business (reference to another thread).
I think it is great that finally someone took the step to show two guys kissing to show that homosexuality has to be accepted. Like I said, I wish one of my kids didn't change the channel, otherwise I would like to slo-mo the ad and look closely at all the couples to see if there were two women in there too. I tried to look for it online, but couldn't find it.
Is this ad new or has anyone else seen it? May be I have been living in a cave. Mind you I don't watch much TV except Jeopardy or Global TV news(The girls they have are very pretty, me thinks).
