Yes, but some of us old fogies like things the way they are. The format still works, and I hate it when software “upgrades” are forced upon unsuspecting users without truly understanding their wants and needs, and causing endless hours of re-figuring. I am all for continuos improvement, but a lot of technology for the sake of technology upgrades turn out to be epic fails. Yes, I wear a stylish tinfoil hat when I religiously backup my iphone before upgrading to a ‘new and better IOS with myriad bug fixes , security upgrades, and functional enhancements’. Yeah, right, Doc Johnson does a better job of upgrades IMHO. So I backup right before any system upgrade and that had saved my bacon on multiple occaisions. Major social media sites running fast and loose with MY data. CEO’s apologizing and then charging for more secure options. Ba-Bye. Bunch of dot.com fucktards.
At least I can rely on good old Perb, and it’s skilled mods. (Shameless suckup and pointless shill, but hey, I keep coming back, so this forum is doing something right)!
