I actually like A&W burgers, more than most fast food places. The best fast food ones are probably from the White Spot Triple O's fast-food outlets though. Love those.

Those are really good. Better then the ones served in the WS restaurants.

I’ve been a fan of Vera’s since they had literally a shack on the beach in W Van. Two sisters, who I think were twins ran it. People would line up 100 deep to order their burgers. Great way to end a day at the beach on a hot day!

Lately, I’ve been getting my burgers from The Gull in N Van. A choice of two burgers and it’s a coin toss which one is better.

Yeah, I remember that. These days I find the different Vera's locations are very hit-or-miss in terms of quality.

Five Guys is decent - I certainly like the concept of picking exactly what you want on it. (And ditto about the fries.) I've only ever been to the one at Park Royal in West Van.

Same. As fast-food cgains go, I like A&W and Wendy's. Grew to dislike McD's (some locations are just toxic, some are OK), and never liked Burger King.
