haha, that's what I infer when they're calling me "babe" too! Especially on text/email when I GAVE them my name (often multiple times)... But, I figure they're probably responding to dozens or more people, its just easier to respond the same.
To original topic, I'm not offended if referred to as "Daddy". I've only had one person say it, in texts & in-person, and it wasn't a big turn-on or turn-off.
