I can't help but wonder what the possible long term effects may be in people who initially had just mild symptoms... will any of them have autoimmune issues in the future?

Many reports of long term disability. People who had it in the spring but are still weak and have reduced cardiovascular functions.
I also wonder about permanent damage to organs that might not be detected right away. Damage that may cause problems later on.
