Anyone else concerned about seeing visiting SPs? You see all those cases from Quebec and Ontario. Plus cases on airplanes. Anyone else worried to see a visiting SP? One of my faves is visiting and I haven’t taken part in this hobby in months but I’m tempted to see her.

I'm concerend, both practically and morally. We're really not supposed to / allowed to, so why should I think I'm the exception. That's a subjective comment, of course. Soooo hard to resist though. Ughhhh. This is killing me...though not literally as it could, fortunately.

I am going to try to resist for a month, it's going to be just me and the "palm sisters" may the force be with me. Yikes!! 1000 cases and 10 deaths today, the rate is going crazy.

Yeah I haven’t seen an SP since this has started. But have been tempted a couple times and extremely tempted by a couple visiting SPs recently... cause who knows when this is going to end. But the numbers are just too high to feel comfortable.

I saw my local favorite SP near the beginning of October and since then have not seen anyone. To be honest I even feel like seeing her at the beginning of October was a bad idea. Don't plan on booking a session with anyone anytime soon as things in MB have really spiraled over the past month or so. Haven't seen a touring lady since last February and don't plan on doing so for quite some time as the risk there is too high for my liking.

It's gonna be a long Winter, but I used some of the saved money from not seeing SP's and built a putting studio in my basement so I'll use all that frustration to work on my short game.

I've often wondered how many guys a well known travelling SP will see during her visit? It must be quite a few to make the trip worthwhile. Do you my fellow PERBers have any ideas? She really would be exposing herself (sorry for the pun) to a lot of potential infection, likely way more risk interacting with a client than on an airplane with a mask on.

I haven't seen anyone since early fall, and it's going to have to stay that way. The risks are just too high, and I'm not a kid anymore.

I support my local providers. Nothing against visitors and I wish them the best. If I was partial to visitors, the current situation would be a great concern. Traveling through an airport makes me very nervous.

I saw a travelling low life b**tch scammer once and had a terrible experience.

I don't see out of towners at all (COVID has nothing to do with it). The reasons are:

Great women in our own lovely city.
The schedules are very hard to match. AND
Disagree with me if you want to but they are trying to maximize the money. Which, I suspect, rightly or wrongly, that they are really packing their scheds.
Most of them want advance deposits and that leaves me to my next point.
A bit of a trust issue as well.
With COVID, one has to be extra careful, but for me it is not even a factor because I don't see them anyways.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. This in spite of the fact that not one, but TWO of my favorite ladies rolled into Manitoba recently and are available as a duo.

I’m not seriously asking you what province you’re in, but are you not aware of the national figures?Manitoba, BC and Alberta have higher per capita infection rates than Ontario and are on track to surpass Quebec—Alberta leads the country currently I believe. When you hear about those flights, it doesn’t mean that there was a confirmed transmission but rather that a passengers tested positive and was likely contagious while on the plane. I’d be more concerned about what the provider or her clients social lives are like and less about flights if I were calculating risks.

Haven't seen any of my faves for quite a while. Not worth the risk for me.

With a vaccine sometime next year, when would you feel comfortable diving back in? Ready to go once you've vaccinated? Wait a few months?

I'm really concerned too. There is absolutely no way to be certain that the providers are C19 free, especially considering the conditions (enclosed space, face to face contact). I have 2 people in my family bubble who are vulnerable and I'm not going to be the one that gets them infected.

Once they and I get vaccinated, then wooohooo!!!! AWAKEN the KRAKEN

Unfortunately In Winnipeg all the best providers are from out of province.

I have no problem seeing a travelling provider right now but I am very particular on who I see and keeping the amount that I see at a low level.
