Alternatively ask to see if they're okay with an Amazon Gift card. You only need an email address to the receiver. And I think the sender email can be optional or made up. It'll still come off your credit card, but Amazon is ubiquitous enough that it should substitute for an e-transfer easily.

You can also just get an Amazon card from anywhere while grocery shopping, scratch the back off, take a screenshot and text or email. It’s the most anonymous

The question itself is quite pointless. Let's just pretend, as a thought exercise, that this is a legit provider and not a deposit scam, then the very purpose of the transfer is to have your name, in case something happens.
My purpose for a deposit, is there are so many time wasters and practical jokers who fake book you and send girls to fake addresses. A deposit deters that kind of silliness. And that’s my only reason for asking for a deposit which is why I’m ok with Amazon gift cards. If I’m going to a private residence then I might also do a bit of screening and a whole lot of relying on my gut as well as the deposit.

As harmony-bc correctly points out, not a great option because then we have to spend it right away (or risk the client cancelling it later). With Amazon, once it hits our account it can't be cancelled.
I never knew you could cancel those. I'll have to look into that.

You can give me the number and unless I spend it right now, you can spend it before I can. I actually don’t know if they can be canceled once they’re bought. They’re just not convenient so I don’t accept them. Whereas crypto, Amazon, and email transfer can just sit there until I decide what to spend it on.

I know girls who have seen that a client sent an email transfer but they trusted the guy and after the date, found out it was a fake email or had the client cancel the transfer. My bank is set up for automatic deposit and I check my bank before any nookie

When I worked at an agency in Kelowna, clients would pay with credit card and then cancel them and the agency wouldn’t get paid and then you didn’t get paid. That’s also why I’ll never take credit cards. Prepaid is inconvenient and normal ones you risk the guy being a shady scum bucket.

I never thought of that, how someone can spend it. I believe there's a prepaid credit card where it goes as a gift to the recipient and the donor doesn't see what details are. Oh yeah, taking credit card is not a good idea. It's easy to dispute a charge, not that I advise it ever, but I've disputed fees from hotels that didn't line up with my reason for staying and I usually get that portion back. I've booked at hotels that charged me a resort fee, wheen they couldn't explain what a resort fee is for and why I must pay it I do follow up email giving them an opportunity to refund the portion and if they don't (they usually don't) I dispute the charge.

When I get a prepaid Visa or Mastercard, I immediately log in to my Amazon account and buy a virtual Amazon gift card with it.

Not because I'm afraid someone else will spend it before I can. But because they're kind of a pain in the ass.

A funny story actually about names. Harmony is not my real name so I don’t particularly care if I have your real name. We can be a hot anonymous date. That’s kind of hot I think.

I have a client I’ve had for a zillion years. I adore him. Anyways. He bought me a gift about a year ago that I had to arrange to be delivered to my place. And that’s how I found out the name I knew him by for the last 10-15 years was not his real name. (It was his friends name 😜) Hahaha.

Warning for the girls who have auto-deposit turned on for a registered email+bank account.
Your full registered name shows up on an etransfer transaction even if a transaction never happens.
As soon as I set up an etransfer and select a registered auto deposit email/account is selected, your full name (including middle name) shows up for me.
If you're receiving e-transfers, always make sure you're receiving it with a password or else your identity could be potentially exposed.

I have seen some ladies use a business account as the registered name that showed up was a random business name

Haha as far as I can recall only two (maybe couple more but I have only actively shared it with two) ladies know my real name. One was my ATF who has now retired/dissappeared but we met so many times that eventually one time I ended up telling her my real name. But never knew her real name though. The other one is a current fwb/sugarbaby who knows my real name and I know hers too. Both this scenarios the girls still addressed me by the alias.

I always use an alias otherwise. I am Indo-Canadian so I keep my alias in such a way that person on the other end would be able to tell that by my alias name too. And I always book with ladies that either have no screening or are comfortable with references as screening or screening through perb. For any other case like LinkedIn or ID, I can't do that. I have shared pics of my ID (and a selfie holding it) for screening before but it was with someone who was comfortable with almost everything blacked out except my photo and year of birth. I guess they can know I am real that way and I was comfortable as they didnt have access to my legal details directly.

I know my real name comes up but I did not know that it comes up even if we do nothing. That’s annoying.

i had a guy about 3 years ago, book a 2 hour date and said he preferred to use email transfer as he didn’t want to go to the bank so he’d send it before he left his place. (People have done this. It’s not unusual) It was a request money rather than send transfer in French. It was a bit stressful and so annoying.

I’ve also had so many either dumb people send a password. Or a cryptic message that I can’t figure out. Or left some details out. So I can’t collect because I have the wrong password or no password lol. So many annoying instances. So now it’s direct deposit.

Maybe one day, Canada will have cool apps like cash app so we can send money discretely. Until then, it’s a matter of picking your evils. I’d rather not have random strangers have my legal name. But I also like a stress free easy life hahaha.

This SP that I want to see doesn't accept gift cards as deposits and says that she only takes e-transfers. Which would be fine, except that I am worried about my privacy as my bank account is shared. Joys of being married!!

Is there anyway one can send an anonymous e-transfer. Apparently there is some bank that allows you to hide your email and name when sending e-transfer. My bank doesn't and honestly I don't have time nor do I want to open another private bank account.

I miss good old days, although I am sure many SP's had to deal with lots of no-shows.
Did you ask if she takes references from other providers?
Navada Sky has an e transfer requirement for first timers and I don’t mind doing it because she is well reviewed here, but I wouldn’t do it with anyone else unless they were reviewed here.

Maybe he was trying to scam you, most scammers use this method of requesting money hoping that the person doing it doesn’t realize, there are cases of old folks losing money like this.

He was 100% definitely trying to scam. No maybes about it. That’s why I shared the story and one of the many reasons I have auto deposit. In his case it didn’t work but I was a bit paranoid after and had to check my account to make sure I didn’t press the wrong thing. So many shady people in the world. Stranger danger! lol.

Open a crypto account with Wealth simple
Or someone, you can e-transfer yourself, and tell the Mrs you thought you’d throw in say $500 into Crypto just because of FOMO etc.

She will think ok fine. Then from Said Wealth simple account (they have cash and crypto etc) can then send e-transfer from that account. When setting up account adjust e-transfer name if you worried about the provider, but I think you are more worried about the Mrs seeing the money transfer to a Provider. If you need a referal think there are some Promos you and I can both get lol. Just DM me 🤣
