You are right, I should apologize and I do. It is very embarrassing. But cut me some slack. I did not start the rumor. There is a very convincing video of reporters hounding Trudeau on his abrupt departure from the school. Trudeau appears nervous and does not answer when asked if there was a non-disclosure agreement. It was a well-orchestrated hatchet job.
That’s the thing about Liberals. Being a “team player” is far more important than integrity and standing up against things like obstruction of justice. If Trudeau has nothing to hide why is he hiding behind cabinet confidentiality? He is a sanctimonious hypocrite.
Do you think the Conservatives are any different? Harper controlled his caucus with an iron fist. Where I do think Harper was better than Trudeau, is that Harper would never have made the mistake of giving that portfolio, or any other for that matter, to Jody WR, thereby avoiding the issue that we are debating from ever happening. Harper had a better ability to read his people.

We aren’t talking about Harper. Or Doug Ford. We are talking about Trudeau. We are talking about his words as opposed to his deeds. Not those of another politician. I believe in judging people on their actions rather than the actions of a political bogeyman. I think Trudeau is a sanctimonious hypocrite. More so than any politician in recent memory. He talks a progressive game but then we have: 2 Conflict of Interest Act convictions; groping; black/brown face; SNC Lavalin; kicking JWB down from AG for standing up for the rule of law; kicking JWB and JP out of caucus; India costume party.....
Justin and the Libs have been virtue signalling for many years now to get a certain vote and it paid off the last time. The veneer is a little thin this time around though.
Technically "we" are talking about all the parties. This is the 2019 election thread not the Trudeau thread. But yes Harper is the past. The Conservatives are a fair topic though.
Jody refused to be corrupted and bullied by Justin...yet somehow a few of you are pointing fingers at her, like she is the bad one. All I can say to that is WOW!
Lets face it, there is no good candidate to vote for in the upcoming election.
Vote for the one you think is the least terrible. Or if you like drunken old women who fight instead, then vote for May. Pretty sure that she was stoned tonight the way she couldn't focus during the debate.

Can't say I do, but I'm not here to defend Trudeau. Best I got is "anything you say can and will be used against you." Benefit of the doubt, though, to continue the analogy, "I'm not saying another thing without my lawyer present" isn't something only guilty people say.

I am sure many of you here watched the debate last night... The only thing I learned is Maxime Bernier is a butinski. ie can't have the decency to let the other person have a say... I am just glad I am in a riding where there is not much of a contest... My MP... she was in this debate.. NOTE on the Polsters Maps... The whole south end of Vancouver Island is Green.. Shows we are all concerned for the Salish Sea.
I was thinking the same thing.
Victoria is one of the worst polluters in Canada, yet May lives there, and would like to play the role of green. Her lifestyle sure says otherwise, but she plays the role like an Academy award nominee.
Not at all...I live right on the ocean.. but like every one else near me, we, by law, are required to use a septic tank and field.
Ms. May does not live in Victoria, nor is she the MP for Victoria...
Even if she did live in Victoria, the Capital Regional District (under Provincial jurisdiction) is responsible for waste water systems. Although they get some funding from the Federal Govt the majority of $775M would come from the BC Tax Payers.
