I quit smoking tobacco 3 times. For some reason, it is so easy for me to pick it up and put it down. I smoke the odd smoke or cigar but was never a fan and only did it for social reasons. I still smoke weed but have cut back to maybe a 1/4 of what i used to do. As was mentioned before, smoking in this city is becoming a hassle, which I think is somewhat discriminatory. I think there should still be smoking and non smoking areas in bars. I think work places should accomodate smokers to a certain degree at work. Make them pay through maintaining their habit and raising their insurance premiums. Smokers are made to be pirriahs in today's society, it's a joke.
As for smoking and seeing an SP, i say use the two hour rule. Don't haver a smoke 2 hours before a session and if you do, brush and rinse your mouth afterwards. A shower would also be advised. I don't mind it if the women have a cigarette before or after but they always extend the curtosy of asking first. I'll even share a puff with a few ladies who are 420 friendly. Maybe because I've been around it all my life it doesn't bother me, but I do see why people are uncomfortable with it.
