...but I'll say,... what does one expect when the past 4-5 years has been spent vilifying men, especially white men...?

"They" were so worried about white-man fascism, they pushed them all into a corner with their own brand of fascism; only to wind up voting for another kind of fascist to push them back, never realizing who's the greater force.

Well true to my word. I recorded and watched The View today and the roundup was pretty much of concession. Except for Sunny Hostin who surprised me with her remarks. About where the fuck does a convicted felon get to be the President? She was saying that on any job application there is a box to tick which asks if you have a criminal conviction. If you tick it you are pretty much disqualified. She was the only one who expressed fears about mass deportations. Rounding up people and putting them in detention camps. Stacking the supreme court with hand picked judges and the loss of basic civil rights promised by the orange turd.
.....and no word on the role they played in putting the final nail in the coffin for the Harris campaign. Thought they were supposed to be a friendly crowd.

Very true. To this day there are Cons who still resentful that Chretien did not automatically follow the UK & Australia into America's war and end up disgraced.
I dont think Canadian soldiers had any good equipment for that at that time. It wasn't until General Hillier became CDS, that is when the CAF starting to get newer equipment and a budget to get new equipment. That was for Afghanistan.

A few things I hear the Democrats and analysts finally reflecting on:

1. The assumption that more votes could have changed the election outcome. The losses in virtually all demographics do not support this wishful thinking.

2. Voting for the Republicans was an illogical decision. This needs to be challenged at the deepest core. For the citizens that chose to vote Republican, it was a completely logical decision for them to go with the party they thought would best preserve their jobs, put food on their family table, and improve their sense of security.

3. Wrong priorities and wishy-washy brand promise. Hate him or love him, Trump’s branding and marketing are vastly superior. He stands for one two clear things, like MAGA, which currently means economy and security. What does Harris stand for? What’s here brand promise? Let’s see, abortion rights, decency, I grew up poor, Trump bad, and more of the same (she said she wouldn’t change anything Biden did—failure to accept and learn from shortcomings). Again, trying to be a bunch of social causes was ill-timed and poor marketing, even if those causes have long term merrit.

4. She came off as a priviledged white-collar do-gooder. Trump, the real spoiled child, came off as the blue collar champion. Senator Bernie Sanders who, in a statement following the election, said that a party that has abandoned the working class shouldn't be surprised that the "working class have abandoned them."

5. Although the Democrat machine failed to pull Biden in time to get the country to warm up to a prosecutor, “she did her best in 100 days” is just another excuse. She did well in the debate, had the momentum, and then lost it, because her product sucked, her target audience was misplaced and even they didn’t buy what she was selling. Should have prioritized Joe Rogan over SNL / Beyonce / Oprah, who are now seen as even more biased and annoying preachers of social messages in times of economic challenge.

There are more factors at play of course, but failing to not only accept defeat but also accept fundamental value mistakes will not help them in 2028.
Jobs, taxes, she fell into the Republican trap, she tried to sell wokism. People are not putting up with that Bull shit.... Whoever was doing her campaign should be shot, that is why she lost. The party platform has to change big time. And a man has to run. If latino men were voting against her....

The key to wining any election is to get fired up for the people. What is needed on American farms, for small businesses in the rural areas. What is needed for the cities, Go hard on crime. Send the message.... and follow up with a big fucken hammer.... (talk softly and carry a big hammer....)

Just a quick calculation:
Trump said he would deport 11,000,000 illegal immigrants.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...trump-mass-deportation-plan-cost/75690260007/

Each deportation conducted by ICE cost taxpayers an average of $10,854 (in fiscal 2016).
https://money.cnn.com/2017/04/13/news/economy/deportation-costs-undocumented-immigrant/index.html

That works out to a grand total of: $119,394,000,000.00
(one hundred nineteen billion three hundred ninety-four million dollars)
https://goodcalculators.com/numbers-to-words-converter/

Maybe all of his billionaire buddies will chip in and cover the cost?
To be fair, $120 billion is pocket lint compared to the $8 trillion of debt he ran up in his first term.

When they deport all of the illegals, I wonder who they're going to get to work on the farms and harvest the food?

He and his cheerleaders have not thought that through so far. It will be entertaining to see trump and company disappointing his cheerleaders when he starts backtracking on that promise.

None of them remember the wall and other promises anyway ...so he will be able to move on to next lie to break

I truly hope Kennedy gets to “go wild on healthcare”.
Let's see what happens when nobody gets vaccines and everyone gets rotten teeth.
Americans will be Typhoid Mary and barred entry to civilised countries.
Polio, smallpox, measles, no problem you say?

Trump is incompetent, so are most of his sycophants

the legal system in the U.S. mostly, mostly is still intact

plus the states still have a lot of powers

so, while the americans are on a downward trend, they survived the last 4 yrs

it's just a matter of who's really going to be running the show behind the scene

cause let's face it, Trump is going to just as dementia as Biden in year 3 or 4

There are some winners. Tesla stock is up $80 this week. Me and Elon Musk both own shares. I'm up in the thousands; Elon is up in the billions.

But there are a lot of losers. Like Trump voters in the rust belt who will soon discover what tariffs do to their (soon former) jobs.

And they won't even have Obamacare to fall back on.

Will I feel sorry for them? Nope. They can go fuck themselves.

True enough. Still pretty expensive though.
Plus there is a backlog of about 3 Mil cases in the immigration court system.

Oh, I'm sure MAGA can fill that order. :ROFLMAO:

That was the pilot. The greatest soap opera is about to begin.

I think you are right, the soap opera is now Arizona. How is Kari Lake losing? Trump won AZ easily. People vote the same party line and she is losing to Democrat Gallego. You can see a ballot and if youre a D or R everyone else with a D or R gets the same vote. They are cheating, just like the last time Kari Lake lost when her opponent Kati Hobbs was in charge of the AZ elections and refused to excuse herself from that role.

I also have doubts about the so called " missing democrat voters of 2024". Trump was labeled a bad president in 2020 due to the handling of covid and the economy. This time around much worse. Hitler, fascist, pure evil, dictator and fewer Democrats rallied agains that? To the tune of 15 million? You mean they cared more about a bad covid handler than democracy and personal freedoms? You can't tell me 2020 was straight up.

Why wouldn’t Kari Lake lose? She’s a nut case and trump told her to stop hanging around mar a lago. People aren’t completely stupid.

then how do you explain how they didn't rig it? haha

if they rigged 2020, how come they didn't do the same this time?

when they actually held power

watching the idiots on the left continue to deny reality of why they lost is pretty telling

it's not them, it's you, ie Turdeau, Canadians too stupid to know he's good for you
