Nope, that rumor is dumb because Justin was born well before Margaret met Castro in '76(?).

But nobody can look at Poilievre and seriously believe he's straight. My gaydar is aflutter.

At any rate, PP is hiding something and sooner or later it's gonna come out.

Maybe come out of the closet, maybe come out of someplace else.
No dumber than your rumours. Pierre will beat the pants off trudeau in the next election unless trudesu is forced to quit as liberal leader before that.

Poilievre will beat him in the west where the PC has already a full load of MPS ; but keep in mind that the polls show that the easterners are still suspicious of him . He would be better to push aside his right wingers to gain more votes around Toronto but what happened to Erin O'Toole might prevent him to do so i think.

As for Quebec and the Bloc... Poilievre would be better to change his tune about a lot of policies to gain ground and a majority government but again pleasing one side of the country alienates the other as O'Toole experienced .

So far I only see a minority PC government on the horizon based on the polls by provinces but a year in politics is a long long time.

Polls have been showing a 99% chance of a huge majority Conservative government for months now and what is happening with the Liberals now is not likely to change that. This is from the Liberals own CBC...

The CPC is literally leading in every region not named Quebec.

Poilievre has a net negative favourability rating - unfortunately, every other federal party leader has an even (much) larger net negative favourability rating. No offense mate, you really don't know how to read a poll. Suspicion about Poilievre is overshadowed (by a large margin) by Canadians' dislike for the current PM. If people like you could actually accept what the polls are showing - you (if you are card carrying member of the Federal Lib Party) - should be screaming to the hilts for JT to resign. All this "a year is long long time in politics" is the talking points of a party that has no strategy to combat their polling. Everything die-hard Libs have tried (PP is bad, PP is Trump, in a year things will get better for us, interest rates are coming down, the economy will get better, by-elections don't mean anything) - it's all HOPING for something to help you - HOPE is NOT a strategy, it's a bloody coping mechanism! LOL

I don't believe an election will be called until Jagmeet is eligible to collect his 2.2 million dollar pension in February. At that point he will disavow the Liberals because his main concern is not Canada or its citizens but collecting his pension. He will just keep dragging it out. Hope Im wrong...JT has to go ASAP.

The election is a year away, and the cons have spent $10 million on those warm and fuzzy Pierre ads that play constantly on TV.

When the election campaign is on and the other parties are running ads featuring the ugly Pierre, things are going to change.

And there's a 20 year treasure trove of video in the hopper of the ugly Pierre.

He could win (if he makes it to the election) but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Dude is fucking weird.

Poilievre--who has no education and who has never, ever held a real job--will never be Prime Minister.

Again, funny how even the die-hard Lib zealots are starting to see exactly where the current PM (and by extension, this iteration of the Federal Libs) is in the eyes of Canadians! LOL

Would you like to bet your PERB board membership for a year on it regarding the upcoming election? Of course if I lose the one in the US political thread its off because I will be forced to take a year vacation anyways....and I could lose that one. This one I will definitely not.

If you like we can revisit this following the results of Nov 5th.

LMAO!! I would not take that bet. You'd have to be born last night believing J.D will win. Either that or....#1) one must be an old senior who's senile and stupid -- #2 clueless in what's going on in Canada lol.

Mind you...these OLD fools will be desperate enough to create another handle name. If they don't already own a few . Perb is their main life recreation is seems for some on here. An obsession. For all I know, many of these lefties on here could very be 1 person posting for all. Air heads in Canada for J.D has to be at an extreme low lol. so....

Lol... Trust me, I don't take any lefty on here seriously. I view them here only as entertainment and laugh at many comments in this thread. Some of these left winged lunatics are funnier than some comedy TV series. 🤣🤣

I'm not a betting man.

And in the unlikely event that I was to lose, I'd just use my other handle, "Erotic Companion Stiffany Cocks."

That's too bad. That was the most guaranteed win I think I ever would have had. A PM hated across the country involved in multiple taxpayer swindling scandals facing a caucus revolt and a mass of cabinet minister resignations. Even his own press is beginning to turn against him. Things are not going to get better for JT than they are now.

But at least he can count on Crookedmembers unflinching support. Thats a positive.

Be careful of the bubble that you live. People are tired, weary of Justin. But most people I know thick PP is a prick. If the conservatives had another leader, it would be a guaranteed majority government. But a year is a long time and PP has a lot of hidden baggage and the Libs will expose it just the same way that the Cons and the NDP do the same. No one has the high ground here. As for the press, it is disingenuous to claim that they are in JT's pocket. Apart from the CBC, the press is owned by the rich or in the case of the National Pun and the Sun chain, the American rich. The folks on the left can be a joke but the folks on the right are viewed with the same contempt by many, many Canadians especially those in the cities and away from the Flatlands. Just saying. Now it is everyone's turn to be vitriolic towards me.

He could hang on for a year but even next week we could be seeing a successful non confidence motion in the government if enough of the Liberals in the revolt get pissed at the speed with which he dismissed their concerns and decide to either abstain from voting or vote against him.

PP could well be an absolute prick. I'm looking at the numbers and currently he sits at a 99% chance of forming a large majority government facing two severely damaged competitors so it will have to be some very extreme baggage to bring him down at this time.

No politicians have high ground...true.

Let's keep something in mind. JT is a skilled and excellent campaigner who has relegated three CPC leaders to the dustbin so far.

PP is puerile, can't answer questions like an adult, is afraid of debates, and needed India's help to win his own party's nomination.

Also, he's hiding some sordid details from his past.

Also seems to have a security clearance problem.

Also seems to have a security clearance problem.
Normally members of both chambers of the parliament seating on committees with any critical information involving strategical information for the nation request their a top security clearance .

The leader of the opposition normally gets a security clearance to familiarize themselves and be ready to lead the country even before taking power.

It is puzzling that Poilievre has not requested a top security clearance a year away or less from a general election . He is the first leader of the opposition in decades without it from my recollection .
