So you think that Trump wants to help the Russians defeat Ukraine and even help them expand even further into Eastern Europe.
How would that benefit Trump and or the US?
There is no way that it would so why would he do it?

Also, US presidents do not have unlimited, unchecked power. It's not like Trump can wake up one morning and say, "send a bunch guns and bombs over to Russia, I want to help them out.
It doesn't work that way. It would have to be approved by the congress. Why would they approve it? They wouldn't.
Lastly, there's a little thing called public opinion. Not a lot of pro Russian sentiment amongst the general population.
Geopolitics is a complicated game.
I don't think Trump is any kind of tactical genius, but what you're suggesting is ridiculous.
So , once the Chinese have taken control, wouldn't that have a negative impact on their ability to import food and energy.
It would also affect their ability to export their crap around the world because the world might not be so happy with them.
So, maybe not such a good idea.

Something like 70% of the world's trade goes through that area in shipping. That includes shipping to the US which will affect US markets. China dosen't care if it starves its citizens, afterall Mao did that in the 1950s.....
China also has the land routes north through Mongolia and Russia to make it to Iran, which would bypass the south China sea and India to get to Africa.
China's belt and road and loans to other developing countries is to make sure when the loans default, they can build military bases in those countries.
There is a documentary on how Chinese drug smugglers are getting footholds into alot of Pacific Island groups.
Also China can get oil from the eastern/northern route around Russia. Or build a pipeline from the north Russian ports.
If China has a weak point, there are ways of eliminating them....
I think if they take control, it would mean they will be in control not only of trade in that region but also the way goods are being distributed. Meaning all goods coming into and out of that region would need to go thru them including goods and services going into Australia etc. No military ship or cargo can pass without their permission. If for some reason there is a conflict somewhere nearby and the west needs to be there for military support or humanitarian support, It won’t happen without China’s approval. That would mean west will need to make concession.like for example, Taiwan needs to ship those chips that are very much needed in the west or goods manufactured in Vietnam or Thailand. That won’t be that easy anymore. Look at Singapore. Small island that doesn’t produce anything at all, but is one of the riches country in the world. Why? Bcoz of its port. The South China Sea will not become an international water anymore. Goods coming from the west will need to reroute farther making cost extremely expensive and becomes less competitive. That is why there are right now 9 US and British bases in the Philippines. I will post a video later. This is to protect Taiwan and its waters. China right now is the factory of the world whether we like it or not. The moment they stop supplying the market, we all will suffer. There was a funny saying that goes like this. God created the world but everything now is made in China. If this happen, China will control the world. Chinese don’t do wars like the US. They use trade. That’s why there is a trade war. The west sell arms. They east sells food and raw materials for people’s daily lives. Question is which is more important?

Still everybody. They have already monopolized almost everything. Where will the rest of the world buy the things they don’t produce themselves? Produce themselves? Other countries will produce themselves? It will be so expensive that only a few can afford it. I get what you mean but do you think Europe will stop buying from them? Look around your home this morning and tell yourself which stuff aren’t made in China or somewhere else. Not just the actual product but also consider the raw materials that went into it. They are 90% made in China or somewhere else. That is why there is trade. West sell them something and vice versa. Even if they’re not made in China they still need that maritime routes. Hundreds of oil tankers pass that routes every single day, are you kidding me?! If China controls that region they control the world. It’s as simple as that. Just ask one simple question. Why is the US present in that region? What the heck are they doing there when in fact they have their own problems to deal with back home? China has the capability to starve the world. Though the Chinese are extremely corrupt, they put engineers and scientists into leadership and out-capitilism-ed the so called 'free econonmies' for three decades. Make no mistake of what they can do. And their R&D spend is higher than most of the western world.
Even the latest embargos of advanced chip equipment is only having a temporary effect. They have clones of the latest fighters and more advanced missle tech, and have no compuction or public outcry against putting robots into theaters of war.
Im no fan of the Chinese system, but they are a force to be reconed with. Their greatest threat is actually internal if they split up once the economy transitions - there is a current 'offshoring' from China to Vietnam/Indonesia/Thailand/Myramar/Malaysia that is speeding up and could cause trouble if the jobs dissapear ( i think this is one of the reasons you dont hear alot of complaints from Muslim Asia about the Uighers, too much money).
And if you are taking my comment serious...I've got a few on ramps sitting around for your bridges you might want to consider.
