What are some things providers do online or in ads that make you not want to book with them?
Mostly in regards to their online presence or how their advertising is presented

Really bad photos that don’t give any idea what she looks like. Some are taken in dim light - hiding something? Close ups of body parts that might not be her.

Talking shit about their clients on social media.

Let me clarify that I know some guys are assholes, and the ladies put up with way too much nonsense, so calling out an individual or a specific bad behaviour is fine and totally acceptable to me.

However some girls just seem to be pissed off in general.

One girl I saw a couple of years ago, and really liked, has started posting memes about guys all being idiots, and recently one about the low quality of clients lately in general. I understand that sometimes we all need to vent, but keep that kind of thing in your DM’s for your friends and other SP’s, not in your public feed. Social media is an advertising platform and insulting potential clients seems stupid to me. Even though I’ve met her, had a good time, and know I’m welcome back, this kind of stuff annoys me and I’m less likely to book her again.

This is one of my turn-offs as well. But I would expand on it to say talking shit in general on social media.

I find that the providers talking shit about their clients on social media are also talking shit in general. There have been a few well reviewed providers who I have shortlisted that turned out to be insufferable oxygen thieves on social media. But I figure that exposing their character did me a huge favour because I didn't waste a lot of money booking them just to have a bad experience.

- Concealed midsections
- photoshop
- those photos where they flash their middle finger with their tongue sticking out and then call themselves "upscale and classy" in the body of the text of the ad.

  • Rage and/or disgust against clients in general in their social media. Had one provider tell me prostitution was "paid rape".
  • Drug paraphernalia in the background of photos.
  • Seeing a man's anything in their photos, even in reflections. Hand, cock, underwear, semen, whatever.
  • Casual mention or photos of excessive wealth and privilege. It's as gross to men, as it is to women.
  • "Someone book us both for duo so I can ravage 'fill in blank'" If you want to be with a professional, pay for it like we do.
  • Coloured text and font changes carried over from Craigslist days. It screamed scam then, it screams scam now.
  • Multi day text tag or text ghosting. I responded in 10 seconds and the reply was 36 hours later? Email its more tolerable, so I can understand it's use for the busy individual to keep organized.
  • Stripper outfits or stripper poles. It's like a rite of passage every provider has to go through a pole dance phase. This one is more personal because of the poor experiences I've had with strippers side hustling as providers.

I second this , except to add that in this context I consider perb a form of social media , but created for a niche group is all.

Most of my gripes are purely at an aesthetic level:
- Copying the Kim Kardashian, paint-by-numbers make-up job. As if she's ready to fly off to Dubai if someone paid her air-fare for mediocre service.
- Flipping the bird; trying to impress they're some kind of "bad bitch" cliche. Don't they realize people visit providers so they don't get that attitude?
- Associating the hobby to rap-culture. I hate country music, but rap/hip-hop are the worse. I meet providers because I'm DTF, not because I have delusions of being some kind of pimp gangsta primo #1 whatever/whatever. I want sex, not to be in a rap music video...
- Those who wear their activism on their sleeve, and look the part too. The Kool-Aid coloured, shaven-sides hairdo, scattered tattoos, types that look like they'll talk your ear off about the 'evils of capitalism', and 'black lives matter', or 'the patricharcy', all the while doing it doggie-style...

- Ads with a lot of "No" attached to it. I get the lady has some restrictions on what she's willing to NOT do. But I read one ad that had over a dozen "No's" on it, which gives me the impression that she wants to do very little for the going rate.
- Listing off their offerings like it's microtransactions in a videogame; "150/15, 220/30, 260/45, 300/60, CIM/40, COB/50, COT/60, COF/70, RIM/40, MSOG 80, GRK/1000".... like really, why? What's next? Doggie/100, Missionary/145, Cowgirl/150, Reverse Cowgirl/175, Rusty Trombone/15.... Can't just give a flat rate instead?
- I'll also put in a blurb about their social media habits too. I've tried finding providers on X, and when you glean over their feed, you see many providers crapping on how "men are scum", "clients are perverts"... and it's annoying to see such delusion, when their main source of income are those scummy perverts to begin with. If sex work is that bad, then go find work elsewhere; the pay might not be as glamourous, but at least you'll make room for providers who still care about their position in life.
- Ladies who use coded words for hard drugs, like 'snow bunny', or 'Molly'...
- Weak ad descriptions. Sloppy formatting. I don't expect a university dissertation, but at least some effort in their salesmanship.
- It's already mentioned about selfies with messy rooms, but what also irks me is the exact opposite. Rooms with NOTHING in the background. Zero personality. Just a bed on a hardwood floor, no pictures, not "lived" in at all... I realize they probably rented an AirBnB to do their shots. But if a girl is advertising they're part of the high-rise condo scene, and I want to have sex in front of a cityscape backdrop, I have to ask is that what she's offering? Or will I expect her incall to be some $2000/month converted broom-closet in some DTES SRO?.... Not a deal-breaker, but certainly misleading.

If the SP does things that might cause harm to other SP's. What's stopping them from going after you next?
