Wife has the same haircut as Jada.....in fact I just trimmed it for her a couple days ago. Nobody assumes she has a health issue nor is there any reason to. What makes everybody, well some people anyway, think Chris Rock knew that Jada had a health issue. I suggest his G.I. Jane 2 comment was more of a thumbs up on her looks then any kind of put down or joke at her expense.
If Will Smith was really mad at Chris Rock, I think it would of been a big fist hitting Chris Rock.. Instead it was a sissy slap. I also think the anger of Will's comments after was more for how he reacted in public. Maybe it was staged... Imagine if one was white and one was black.... See the issue here and how out of hand it could of been.
I will say Chris Rock handled it very well, and went on with the show. I also think that Will Smith did the right thing and apologized to everyone when he made his speech. Also he apologized to Chris Rock the next day.
Both sides acted with class after the incident. Now they have to do intervention and go out for dinner and drinks... all is well in LaLa Land....
Also Jada looks awesome with hair or without hair. She is so sexy....

I think you missed my point. Some jokes are good, some are bad. Some are in bad taste, inappropriate and even hurtful. The problem wasn't the joke but Will Smith’s reaction. Physically assaulting another person is never the proper response.

Its obvious that the stresses of his very public life and that hbo special definitely erupted into a very public fashion. Its like losing your job and someone makes fun of you at a party and they didn't know so you slug at them in front of everyone.
Its really sad because it stole the limelight of all the other people who won awards. Summer of Soul, CODA, Jane Campion; their big win was definitely overshadowed by something so trivial.
