Porn Star Testing Services?

In the states, porn stars usually use "Talent Testing Services" which does a full panel of blood/urine work and provides proof of the results before a shoot.
The turn around time is very fast but it costs money.

What is the Canadian version of this? Does one exist? Where do Canadian porn stars do their testing before scenes?

I don't know the answer, but I read that as "Pornstar Tasting Services" and I thought that'd be a better name anyway.

I use getcheckedonline every month or so to check my STI status. turnaround time is just a few business days, yeah. maybe the longest I've waited is a week. and it's free. I get blood, urine, and swabs. My friends and I who film or work together share our results with each other regularly.

There aren't any PASS clinics in Canada, but we did have clinics that were able to provide the same rapid tests before the pandemic and this is what Canadians used... some hospitals here also used to provide the testing..

They only have PASS clinics in major film hub areas in the US and in Budapest and yes it is expensive to test.. usually around $200 per set of tests.. but tbh if someone tests here at one of the regular clinics they just get papers it doesn't automatically get linked to the system like it does in other places with the PASS system..

Oh, I didn't realize this existed. I usually just schedule with my doc.

How does one get "papers"?
I see people talk about getting papers but I always get a verbal confirmation from healthcare provider, and when I go online there are parts of my tests that aren't available.

You have to ask for them if you want them and pick them up in person. it usually takes like a week. Here in Canada it is illegal for them to email them as of recently in the last few years but you can use a service like getcheckedonline which has the records online for you to access.

Some test results take longer than others.. Blood tests take longer and also your doctor will tell you the ideal timeline for testing or if you need to return for additional testing for some things..

The PASS system is unique and ideal for workers because it allows the producers to verify the legitimacy of the workers papers so there isn't forgery happening and to prevent outbreaks in within the film industry..

oh yeah this is so much easier. you can just get your requisition form online and then go to a participating lifelabs and get tested.

Do you think that most local providers get tested regularly? Haven’t seen much on this in the threads.
