It will always be a work in progress. New problems and challenges will eventually arise. We are not far off from cypto payments being an issue.
2 suggestions.........
Feels like many of the new people don't read or understand the rules.
1st suggestion, this idea maybe farfetched but is there a way where people have to take a test or something to see if they actually read the rules. At every swingers club Ive been to they give new people some sort of an orientation, video to watch and/or rules to read. Some places in the past have asked questions to see if you understand and comprehend it. They will make you go through the video/rules again if they feel you didn't really read or understand it. Im sure many just click through or forget the rules. I know babysitting/holding hands of grown men and women aint what anyone wants to do. It would help clean up some of the clutter and arguments.
Some examples of this are the constant 411 in the reviews section, the "bare" questions, the necro postings, the attacking each other, talking about provider prices, the calling reviewers fake and people confused on how to navigate this site. I know this happens on many forums where the same types of rules constantly get broken every six months or so. Recently it feels like its been getting out of hand.
2nd suggestion is maybe we can have a FAQ with some commonly asked questions or merging threads like the many "who provides Greek", "redheads", "threesomes", etc. types of threads.

If I see a new post obviously in the wrong spot and in 99% of cases it is a new perbite posting, I PM them to tell them the mods will descend upon them with fire and brimstone and to delete that post and put it in the right spot. Or in the case of several, necro posting but not just a year, JFC one guy pulled up one from two thousand and fucking nine. I have a number of new perbites thanking me for saving them the ire of the gods I mean mods.

Been trying to help with that as much as I can. I feel like it's having an impact... but damn it requires monitoring.
Thanks for the thoughts, will work on some revisions later today. As for necro posting, we actually had someone dig up a 19 year old thread to ask if that provider was still around!

Which I don't think I fully understand as I have never used them but have deleted a couple where fellow perbites have put a question to me in these public posts. I mean whatever floats folks' boats but some of those are I think not meant for the public or maybe there is a thread of exhibitionism in there.

Another suggestion, for reading reviews, ask the reader to read the review properly and not asking questions on information already IN the review. Like, OP stated the cost clearly and somebody will ask 'how much was the total damage'. HHhhhhh!!!

I think the "reviews" that say "not going into details " s/b deleted and the poster banned for a few days.
COMPLETELY disagree.
I doubt there will never be agreement on what makes for a suitable review, but IMO the “details” are the least important of them. It’s going to vary by person and I know many SW’s (as vented on Twitter) don’t like the details of a date being shared.
What’s most important to me that I try to include in a review: how was the whole process, how was the place, how did it leave me feeling, will I see her again, etc. All other details are between me and her. Full stop.
I think it’s a very good start.
One suggestion for a topic like this - not only leave it as a sticky but also periodicLly (say, monthly) post it as one of the regular threads in the Lounge and maybe in some of the Reviews/411 sections.
I think our eyes and minds can have a tendency to gloss over the sticky section and not notice what’s there/new, but if it’s in the Lounge or Review section, I’m much more liable to see what the latest post is (which might just be a re-hash of everything).
With any luck, this can catch a few more of the “new users”, especially those who join up without reading said sticky.
I’m guessing any other action (like an acknowledgment page when signing up) would just require more work to setup and may not improve issues they these guidelines are trying to correct.

Nah that's too harsh. I think those "reviews" should still stay so we can ridicule them.

Terb has an Ottawa forum where, for awhile, an asshole was pushing this 95-point checklist to be used for all reviews. It was the most dehumanizing shit you could imagine.
Reviews should be written to the comfort of the SW (first and foremost) and comfort of the reviewer. If you want more info, that’s what private msgs are for.

The first 5 things - they’re either in the ad, website, or you just confirm with the provider. I find it’s usually dependent on the client anyway.
For the rest, did you read my post? That IS the information I would include. Sincere apologies I didn’t specifically mention “accuracy of photos “, I’ll do better next time.
