Um, sorry no. Not even close. Montreal and Toronto both have far more well rounded industries and Canada is lame compared to many other countries.
None of this is the fault of the ladies who are working in the business here, doing the best they can to make a living and play the cards they have been dealt. There is no good reason for anyone to work for less than what they want to charge and the market will bear. Who wouldn't rather see half as many clients for twice the rate and make the same money? Nobody loves dick that much.
Vancouver is far too heavily weighted towards the AMP scene and it skews the whole business as a result. It also sours (or spoils) the client base, as any indy in town will tell you, many guys are cheap, rude, ignorant assholes a lot of the time, and they either got there from learning their approach with an Asian micro, where they get used to paying low rates and treating girls poorly. The competition in that arena is brutal, and they don't like outsiders. That's why there are so many fake reviews, good and bad. There are ton of ladies who still won't tour here because of fake bookings and worse from unknown entities in Vancouver. We have seen a group of ladies break that trend recently, but interestingly enough, none of them are mid-market, they are nearly all premium priced ladies who don't compete with micros anyway and as a result might be harassed a little less.
I think a big part is that we are missing a vibrant agency sector, there are what 3 or 4 half decent agencies here and they are tiny in size compared to those in Toronto and Montreal. Out east, a good agency will have between 20 and 50 ladies on the roster, with 10 working every day at least, often more. Only Carman Fox has that kind of profile here and a big chunk of their listed girls are either gone or some other version of gone, listed as traveling or whatever. As a result, we are missing a whole "middle" part of the market here. A well run agency is a safe place for ladies new to the industry to learn, and it can also provide client screening, drivers, and host of other supports. Many agencies out east put a lot of time and effort into mentoring and training the ladies, and they have tiered pricing to allow growth and development as time goes on. Imagine if 6456 had 40 ladies with 20 available at any given time.
Even the indy scene here is comparatively smaller than out east, where there are many more options, at every price point. It's also population and size of the industry, Toronto is 2-3X Vancouver's size. There is also something to be said for the cost of living out here. It makes everything more expensive and as such limits choice for those who cannot afford the market rate. We should consider ourselves lucky, it could be a lot worse with the kind of pressure LE puts on in the USA. Pooning in Seattle is a fucking nightmare compared to Vancouver.
I can't wait for COVID to unclench everyone's asshole so I can get on a plane and poon out east again.
