What is 'Advanced care'?Just a reminder also that once may 1st comes around, expect another refund with enhanced care
Depends when your insurance renews. There's 2 rebates to be clear. Smaller initial one was a rebate due to Covid/less traffic risk. Mine was only 29 bucks so..meh. The bigger one which according to the ICBC calculator is the one based on the new enhanced rate changes. Mine is supposed to be about 144 dollars and should be credited to my initial payment method which was Visa. Those rebates are supposed to come this month. My insurance was renewed Sept 5th and I paid in full. If you made monthly payments you should get whatever you are entitled to broken down into a reduction on your monthly payments for the rest of your current insurance term.Does everyone get a rebate? I have not received one.
It is not a win for those with permanent disabilities due to an accident that was not their fault. I know a few people in that boat right now fighting ICBC.Personal injury lawyers (ambulance chasers) must be swallowing nervously as the NDP make sure they continue to eat shit in the minds of the public. ICBC continues to find financial stability and shovel money back to rate payers, meanwhile dancing on the grave of personal injury lawyers. Eby for the win!
But aren't they being offered medical supports and rehabilitation, just not an open ended settlement that the lawyers take a third of.It is not a win for those with permanent disabilities due to an accident that was not their fault. I know a few people in that boat right now fighting ICBC.
They still have to fight for it. Just like WCB.But aren't they being offered medical supports and rehabilitation, just not an open ended settlement that the lawyers take a third of.
Only if they aren't able to reach a settlement - I know people who have gone both routes (settlement and litigation). They still have to fight for it. Just like WCB.
