I put mine up just days after Halloween. 2020 has turned me into an antisocial hermit and I wanted to make my living room a bit happier

I also bought a daybed and put it in my living room recently so I can justify to myself it's not all bad if I spend 90% of each 24hr day in my bed

We went out in the forest on Wednesday and cut a tree. Took along a lunch and made a picnic of it. The tree is standing in the carport now. It will go into the living room tomorrow.

While I haven't got my tree up yet, I have started working on a couple of "Bad Santa" bears and a special order fluffy cat, with a butt plug tail and leather accoutrements. Keeps me busy and it is fun.

I'm getting a tree this week. Debated doing it since it won't be a family Christmas this year for obvious reasons but it's a long tradition for me and it's soothing to sit in the dark with just the tree lights on, and for me that's enough. :)

Went to buy one last week apparently Christmas trees aren’t essential, thank you premier grinch! Sorry you have to stay in Manitoba this winter instead of hiding in your villa in Costa Rica tweeting how wonderful winter in Manitoba is!

"MB Mod , that really puts a damper on your families plans! Hopefully the Manitoba government will realize they may have made a bad decision & allow the tree lots to open in time for Christmas!

Good for you koko2019, nothing that smells better than a freshly cut Christmas tree in your home! Trees here in Ontario start at 50.00 to buy from a tree farm.

Great idea Miss Hunter & you are right, it makes you smile to see the tree all decorated & looking bright & cheerful! I put up my monkey tree in November & enjoy it every night I sit in the sunroom!

Huh? Real trees are available in multiple areas of Winnipeg. Also saw the premier this morning, however he does look quite worn down, guess he needs a vacay like the rest of us.

So with a live tree, you go cut one down. Then weeks later throw it out. Bad environmentalists.... Probally get coal for Christmas....

I have got mine up. Been up for a week or so. Also pretty done my shopping mostly all online , some with small retailers to help them out in this crazy world we live at the movemen. this is the earliest I have had the tree up and shopping done. Tried to get in the spirit early as the world is crazy right now. Cheers to everyone and have a very safe and great holiday season.
