I'm really curious about men who trust providers (especially an easily verifiable, well-reviewed one such as myself) so little that they won't even share their real names. Unless you're Jay-Z cheating on Beyonce I really don't understand what you think is going to happen. Do you think I'm going to sacrifice my entire business being careless with your info? And by "careless" I mean I'd literally have to post a billboard with your face and name saying "I fuck hookers". I'm sorry but you're just not that important and I do not care that much, I just wanna know the real name of the guy I'm gonna let f*ck me, mostly so I can google you and see if you have a history of assault charges. Why is it so hard?

Doesn't really make sense to me either. The client being "outed" seems much, much more likely to come from the client's indiscretion than a provider's, and the idea that a provider who sees however many clients would want to target you specifically smells a little of narcissism to me.

narcissism, or they actually do plan to do me harm. or both.

In this day of facial recognition, and phone tracking, and phone numbers..... I don't seem any harm in using my real name. A picture of my would be just as harmful. I haven't had to show my Id.

my screening is either
1. E-transfer deposit
OR
2. Indie reference AND linkedin AND photo ID

Like I don’t think that’s ridiculous. A deposit or proof you’re a safe person who is who they say they are. ??‍♀ So many still balk, even from this forum. Get it together guys. I could tell some pretty fucked up stories from before I required deposit or ID that you probably can’t even imagine. Meanwhile, I’ve never heard of a client getting fucked over by a reputable provider.

As an opposing view ...
There are some crazy SP's out there. Hard to discern from the ad and from initial interactions but there is a range from mildly disturbed to full on bat shit wacko. I have met a few and have been glad the only info I passed over was my cell # (easy to block unwanted calls), nickname and cash.

There are accounts within this forum of perbites having crazy shit done to them or at the least being threatened. Calls of rape, threats to report to police etc etc.

No question for the bonafide and verified SP's a real name is fine, but woo wee, some serious shit can be wrecked up on a guy by not being diligent.

This thread was about verified SPs with a reputation :)

I wonder sometimes if I am giving too much info in my initial message, I want to stand out and give the girl a clearer picture of who is sending the message in hopes I will have a better chance of a response.... I tell her how old I am, that I'm white(or caucasion if everyone here prefers that term) how much I weigh and that I have a slight muscular build, and that I don't do drugs or smoke. I also offer in later messages if they would like a recent pic of me, I let them know I can give them references and a copy of my ID if they like....

This is great! I personally advertise that IDGAF about appearance and am more interested in personality, so messages with these details can irk me, but it’s better than “hey bb u avail” for sure ?

Sometimes its just easier to play it safe .Political careers , Jobs ,home relationship and family play a big part ..Client SPs relationships can develop into something serious and if It doesnt work out things can get ugly ..I have nothing to hide and dont give a flying fuck who know my buisness ..My regular knows everything about me and probably knows more about me then I do ..I have trusted her from the beginning and she has shared many personal things with me as well. .It does feel a little more intimate for me .

Two words: Heidi Fleiss:

I have not gone thru the whole thread so not sure if someone else has said it already, but it applies both ways don't you think? I only know real names of two of my ATF's. I never asked them , they chose to tell it out (one just blurted out accidentally). :)

I see your point, but frankly, I personally don't think it is as big of a deal (not telling real ID) as you might think it is. I am not saying that YOU, as in Charlee Beckett would break someone's trust but someone else might.

Hypothetically, what if things between both sides go sour suddenly. What if...........

It is a very secret hobby/business and most people on both sides feel it should be kept that way. If my ATF refused to reveal her true ID to me, I wouldn't get upset at all. Just my opinion. :)

You don't need a billboard. Social media has become such a powerful tool for the vindictive, that a person can lose their family, career and reputation by the court of public opinion with a tweet saying #metoo or whatever is the daily trend.

The discretion is a two way street. You may not always want to pursue this vocation and your future endeavors should not be defined by this time in your life.

Out of curiosity, once you receive an email with photo id, or a real name, and you have verified, do you delete the information or hold on to it?

If it is a trusted provider that has a great reputation I have no problem giving up my name.
If it is some fly by nighter newbie on Leolist I have a big problem.

Today it is so much easier just to send a respected and trusted provider an E-Transfer rather than fucking around waiting for a reference to be validated.

There are many stories of guys being outed by a provider or even blackmailed over the years, but not nearly as many of providers being assaulted. Pay the deposit, do the reference, provide the info, or see someone who doesn't ask for it. Either way, whining about screeening procedures here will be treated the same way as whining about prices. Posts will get deleted, warnings will be issued and bans will come if you don't get the message.

"play it safe" "two way street" "applies both ways" "it can get ugly" "a powerful tool for the vindictive"

One thing none of you seem to understand is that while you may not know our legal names, you do know:
1. what we look like
2. how to get us in a room alone
3. where we work or often where we actually live
Think about what that means for us. Think about how much we are trusting you with. Our LIVES, our physical and sexual safety, etc. Sex workers have been kidnapped, murdered, raped, assaulted, etc... that's what we're trusting you not to do to us when we have you over for a session. "Two way street" indeed.

I keep it until the session is over. That way if I go missing or am found murdered my kidnapper/killer will be easier to find.
