I do a lot of driving obviously so I get to see a lot of stuff.I have noticed both Shaganappi Point has taken the covers off the greens and the same for Inglewood in the last week.Truth be told I see a lot of the glorious Spring rebirth going on in the last week.Lots of green going on and trees are budding.I love the season of rebirth after the long dark season of death which is Winter. To me the idea of locking down golf courses seems idiotic at best.Given some sensible measures the golf season can proceed just fine.
#1 limit the number of people in line at the clubhouse.
#2 No power cart or pull cart rentals so as to get rid of points of contact.
#3 remove ball washers so as to get rid of points of contact.
#4 get rid of the rakes for bunkers to get rid of points of contact.
#5 Do not pull the flag stick so as to get rid points of contact.
#6 Social distancing obviously.
#7 No gathering around after a round for a beer and no handshakes after a round.
I think what I propose is quite smart and obvious.
