In light of some very recent events in Toronto (a couple of well known indies were brutally attacked, beaten and robbed), there will be no more discussion or debate allowed on the forums regarding any SP's screening practices. If the members dont agree with a certain ladies screening procedure, move on, they can seek out someone else that suits their needs. No need to ridicule, shame or attack the lady for trying to keep herself safe. And its your right if you dont like to move on, skip, and find someone else. The ladies safety and well being will be PERB'S (and all of our forums nationwide) first priority. Posts will be removed, with a warning for first time offenders. Do it again, and you will be banned. Fred’s comment is something that shouldn’t even have to be said. The SP’s safety should be a given.

I think a thread that I started yesterday seeking more info about a service provider's screening process resulted in this control being put in place (along with the recent events). I am quite new to this and was just trying to gather info from others. I completely understand the need to have proper screening (I had mentioned that in my original post too) and I sincerely apologize if I caused grief to anyone. That wasn't my intention

That is it's so critical -- IMHO -- for ladies to be on Perb. I understand some do not like reviews, or like being reviewed, but, other than that....I can't think of any other reason why ladies wouldn't want to be on Perb. There are so many more sections on this forum than just Ads.

I am certain this applies to mentioning specific ladies, but what about discussion about screening methods in general (only in the Lounge or something)? Is that banned too?

I’ve seen big improvement and every time someone posts something that’s homophobic, racist, vindictive or misogynist it gets taken down. It’s important not to encourage and make it an acceptable behavior & look away.

Guys need to remember how dangerous this is. Guys whine about privacy but women have to worry about being murdered. The risks are not comparable!
