Is there a way to see old Leolist ads that are down?

I click on a link and can read the title but ad has been removed. Is there any way to see photos and the ad from before? I tried cached pages and archive viewer but it doesn't seem to work for ads

With some luck, you might find cached pages in google cache, including images (or some of images). It works if the page was active when Google was refreshing it the last time. So if it does not work today, it might work someday later when those times align.

You can increase your chances if you check not only Google but other search engine caches (Bing, etc.)

Regardless of which search engine you use, the cached pages aren't up for very long after the original page has been removed. You might be lucky to find a cached page within a few days of it being removed, but anything longer your chances are slim to none.

The oldest cached ads I found where about 3 months old I think. There's no general rule how often search engines have to stalk every single LL ad.

Anyway, the whole method has slim chances of success and is for those with lots of spare time and desire to find that elusive LL ad that's only posted once a week for a short while.

I just gave it a try, and amazingly the Wayback Machine does have a few ads. Good luck finding any particular one, though.

I started archiving BP and LL ads a while back because sone hotties seemed to come and go with the wind. Creepy? Yup, but who’s judging?

lol the wayback is funny, if you put an old one from 2015 next to the present site, you can see the increase in average rates....back then it was 250 now the average is 300 (in Vancouver)
