I have an old I phone and I am wondering what carrier, or place is best to buy a nano SIM card to use?
Obviously I don't want any personal info attached.

i second that. I have been using one for last two years. Just walk in to any 7 11 and you have a working phone within five minutes. Usually they have a promotion that if you buy $100 worth of time, you get extra $25's worth more. Phones are not really that great, but they do the job.7-11 Speakout
The only way to go. The phone I got is an Acer and is actually pretty good. The time you buy is good for one year and carries on for another year if you add more time.7-11 Speakout
Exactly.^^^^
Cash is king! Buy the phone with the plan and pay cash, no names or numbers taken. Go to a pay phone or internet cafe and activate. There is no way to trace back to you.
No, you don't. 7.11 just takes the payment and hands you the phone. You insert the card and just dial the number and punch in the numbers to upload minutes. You can also do it online. I have signed up online to keep track of minutes etc. You do the same when recharging the phone. Just pay the cashier and they hand you a number that you dial to upload minutes.Do you not have to give any personal information when signing up? Whys this any different than using your actual phone?

I think only way you could be tracked is ip address if you use wifi.
Right on!What you guys ar talking about is serious privacy as if we are committing serious crime. Personally speaking, I can't use my regular phone for this hobby because I am married and that's why I got a burner phone. I am not too worried about being video taped at a cafe or at a public spot or being under surveillance by cops. Seems like some of you take this privacy issue VERY seriously.

Play it safe and spend the bucks on a new burner. All homes have a unique manufacturer's ID. May be traceable. Yes, I am paranoid. This may sound like a naive question, but...if I have an old Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, which is in a drawer that I haven't used in a couple of years since I upgraded to a new phone, can I use the old phone in the same manner?
Is there a way to get Speakout from 7-11, and use it with my.old phone?
Or, do I have to get a new burner phone and do it that way?
Yes, the old phone is/was in my name, but has not been in use for years. Is there a way for LE to track any ID from it?
Speak Out phone does come with a burner phone. They are not the best quality, but they do the job.
