So a touring lady wants me to pay a 100$ cancellation fee when i've given her 5 days notice if I am to see her in the future.
What do you guys think have you ever paid a fee like this with that much notice?
She seems abit too business like to me.

LOL, what he said.

Based on the ludicrous request on her part, it's safe to say you're not missing out on much.

obviously those are the conditions under which she will see you If this is reasonable or not really does not matter that is how she chooses to run her business .

I think it seems unreasonable Unless you required some sort of elaborate sexual fantasy where she had to put out significant cash to fulfill your wishes. That she would not get back for example if she had to rent a building and purchase an elaborate costume .

For example If you wanted her to put on a very expensive custom made penguin costume That she had to purchase and rent out an expensive walk in freezer at a commercial cold storage facility. and she had already paid for both the penguin costume and the rental on the walk in freezer and could not get her money back. then yes this would be reasonable .

How badly do you want to see her in the future?
Would she put you on some black list for not paying her fee?
If she had cancelled on you would she compensate you too?

Those would be the questions I would ask myself.

Five days notice is ludicrous but you do need to weigh your options here.

How would it effect her biz if you posted her name?

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
As a business person who does impose a no show or late cancellation fee, it is meant for those times a person does not show up and you've lost the opportunity to see another person and thus lost income.
I would say her request is a bit unreasonable if you did give her 5 days notice. That gives her lots of time to book another client.

In the end t is her right to charge it and it is your right to decide f you are going to patronise her business in the future.

Cheers
JB

Depends, did you book a lengthy time period where she sectioned off just for you? In which case it's possible she was actually dependant on your arrangement.

That is a good point. If the appointment was for 4 hours or more such as an over-night then some of the touring girls do have on their websites they will charge a cancellation fee.
Actually a number are requesting a 50% down payment for that amount of time while on tour.

Too much finagling with touring SP's by competitors, handlers et al to let that amount of donation disappear.

Yup. So even with 5 days notice, if their 12 hour booking gets cancelled it can suddenly send a provider into the red for their tour.
Vancouver is a flakey town. A first time lady touring here can be looking at a loss for the first couple of time until she managed to establish a stable base.

Things can just happen. A lot of us come from far and wide to see them, and we all have a lot of different situations in our lives. But yeah, I agree a bit on the flakey part.

As for the fee, I still think with the proper advertising it shouldn't be that hard for one time slot in 5 days.

That's a pretty elaborate and detailed "example".

So the key point here is whether you want to see her in the future or not- however unreasonable it may seem to you it's still her rules.
If you are still super-keen to splash in her pool- and she is reputable- then maybe pay her with the condition that the C-note goes towards the future visit?
Or if she truly is a super-star and you intend to see her for a longer and therefore more expensive session- say upwards of $750- then sporting another hun is fuck-all really.
If you couldn't give a rat's then BFD- no candy for Candi.
