On the few occasions when I was told I needed to pay a cancellation fee, I simply pointed out that I was not cancelling, but was leaving because the person I made the appointment with was not offered. It was only a "real" photo, not a real photo of the person I was offered.

Most disturbing thing I've heard in a while...
Do guys really think this way?
Only a few, but still enough to make the others look bad too.
Typical passive/aggressive, make a really obnoxious joke, if it goes over well you pat your self on the back, if it bombs you say "but I was only joking".

i meant the kicking rocks part
But you really need to be able to tell when someone is doing something in a trolling manner haha.
It's meant as a sick joke more or less with some funny in it ( dark funny is good funny )
Well you got the sick part right.

No it is not funny.

Right ... Scary to think of being with someone that's thinking of my body like that, even in jest! Yikes!!

Folks, I cannot emphasize this enough. PERB is working hard to be a friendly, open and welcoming place. The kind of garbage posted by Helix 1234 in this thread is NOT ok and won't be tolerated. I have edited the thread and he's been warned. If you cannot make a joke without being sick (or insulting, or racist or otherwise trollish) then keep your thoughts to yourself and you will be able to keep posting here. Misogyny, ignorance and insults are never going to be welcome here. as always, flag the post and let the mods deal with it. Those who try to fight fire with fire will find themselves in just as much trouble as the poster who started it.

Thanks and have a nice evening.

I prefer not to be tarred with the same brush.
I'd prefer not to be tarred at all... I might be okay with the feathers as long as no tar was involved... Just sayin' :D

Not all men think like this.

You just have to understand that not all the men on here are gentlemen or are of sound mind.
I hear sounds in my mind all the time...is that a good thing or a bad thing ????

:focus: I think that a touring girl deserves a cancellation fee as she probably booked her flight and hotel more than five days in advance.

that's what I was thinking, depends on how fully booked they are but if they are marginally booked a cancellation after they booked the flight must put a dent on things

the most I have heard is 24 hours notice or 48..

not anything like five days.
it is a bit much, I would not pay for five days notice.

I would actually try and talk to the lady, and ask if I paid her the cancellation fee would it go towards rebooking with her as soon as we could make it happen,, I think I would pay on those grounds even for five days notice, assuming she was a reputable lady etc etc.
but if she didn't agree to that, no not going to happen,.

five days is a lot of notice, even for a touring girl, she can either fill out her calendar by then or cancel this leg of her stop.

It was a 1 hr appointment that I wanted to move 30 minutes later as i wanted more time to groom. She couldn't schedule around that...
I wanted to see her first thing in the morning but she didn't start till mid day. So I had plans to do some paddleboarding in the morning instead.
Yeah 5 days notice.... lets just say she's in town yesterday and leaving town today.

Can someone explain this to me? What was so horrible about what he said?
