I doubt it. Otherwise, why would I be able to one day and not the next, then working again, when I have made zero changes?Heres my insight on this problem I had also been having for ages. Wifi works and then wireless dosent. I found my problem to be in the cookies settings just open all your restrictions up and you should be fine
This didnt work for me, so I tried adjusting each of the Safari settings individually to no avail, in both iOS 5 and 6 (updated yesterday).Heres my insight on this problem I had also been having for ages. After trying and failing with Safari and its settings the other day I decided to try installing puffin (though sceptical thAt a simple browser change would work).Try different browsers on your phone? I had good luck with puffin when my phone was giving me PERB problems..
It is not an issue with blocking... It appears to be some kind of connection error with safari browser (or atomic web browser) through 3G to the site... Hit or miss on whether or not it works, some days/some cell towers yes, others no.TELUS definitely blocking
VPN works fine as work around
VPN also usefull when traveling to certain countries (like in Asia) who have restrictions
It could be packet loss related, I just find it odd that once I installed puffin, safari got sorted out as well. I wonder if it changes something at the iOS level once it gets installed. I miss good old fashioned .ini files. So my conclusion is some break in data packets when using the default iOS browsing through 3G... Puffin must handle it differently, have longer timeouts or something.
It's pretty random. I have retired my iphone and gone back to Android and still have the issue regardless of the browser. I have Telus as my wireless and frequently have this problem. If I switch to a Wifi connection I have no issues. I can tether my laptop to my phone and have the same issue. Today I don't have any issues, but yesterday I did. Makes no difference if I am on Chrome, Firefox or Opera (really don't care for Internet Explorer). I have Shaw at home and no issues there at all. I can always connect on my phone when I am in Calgary but here it's totally random. West side of Vancouver seems to be the worst. I do agree that it's possibly dependent on which tower you're hitting. It's frustrating at times but not the end of the world for me. I don't know if Telus has been getting flooded with calls from angry pooners, but I hope they fix this soon...It is not an issue with blocking... I have the same issue with one other site that I visit frequently that Telus would have no reason to block...
Switching to puffin as your browser you can connect, or switching to wifi connection you can connect...

Lol! U sound like our IT department! A reboot fixes everything! Though not this one...I tried a battery pull when I had this issue. Send to be fixed now. Maybe try powering off your phone and see if that helps with the reboot.
