is tim tebow for real
or is he just a flash in the pan, and well will he be crucified as soon as he looses a couple of games.

its an interesting story to watch and wonder how its going to play out.
personally im not into this,
i would like to thank the lord jesus christ as my saviour bull shit.
and i snickered when tebow first hit the big screen.

but honestly he is still there wining and looks like he is getting better.
i guess this upcoming sunday
brady meets tebow should be interesting

personaly i would like brady to have his best game ever like four td's four hundred yards forty or so points.

but honesty the kid is hanging in there you got to admire his chutzpah or whatever he has got going on for him

tim tebow gets to run when his offensive line blocks for him. ever since the days of elway and terrell davis you can see the bronco's offensive line is as good as it gets.

tim tebow wins when his kicker kicks 59 yarders for him. i'd say the bronco's success over the last 2 months has been 25% offensive line, 25% defence, 25% bad mistakes by the opposing teams (who runs out of bounds when you're trying to run out the clock - marion barber!), and 25% a combination of tebow, attitude, coaching, and the kicker.

with that said he is exciting to watch. and despite your criticism on his religious words, i think it's refreshing that a young kid with so many eyes on him is putting forth a positive image as opposed to dui charges, fighting dogs, shooting himself in the foot (figuratively and literally) or any of the other stupid things that pro athletes do.

sunday should be a great game. my money's on brady, unless his offensive coordinator pisses him off early.

I think it is safe to say that we can agree that Tebow is not the most technical QB there is. Having said that, he finds ways to win. Perhaps his greatest gift is in his abaility to make his teammates believe they can win

He claims that he will be a virgin until his wedding night so perhaps he has some pent up energy.

People ask why they don't run a 2 minute offence for the entire game. It is pretty simple. Teams are not in prevent defence until the last few minutes. For the most part, he completes short pass plays mixed in with some run options and with his sense of urgency he can gain 10 - 15 yds per play in the last few minutes while the defence sits back on their haunches. He is having a great run but few are convinced he is the quarterback of the future in Denver.

We've seen this before folks. His name was Vince Young. Although I'm sure Tebow is mentally stronger than Young was and could probably bounce back better when defenses can game plan better for him and when his own defense stops standing on it's head which is the big kicker in the Broncos winning games.

There is something to be said about his confidence and leadership qualities which has the team believing they've always got a shot at winning. But like I said we saw this same "magic" a few years ago with Vince Young.

Although I still believe he'd be better suited as a tight end, up back, or splitting qb duties as their wildcat option.

Young and Tebow...completely different players and skillsets. It's impossible to compare the two. The only comparision is that neither will be HOF quarterbacks. Tebow cannot play any other position on the field. He's in the top 5 when comparing his athletic ability with other quarterbacks but is way below average if he was to be a TE or in the back field.
I agree the wildcat is the best bet for him.

Different players or not is mostly irrelevant. Both were/are inaccurate. Both were/are more athletic qbs not pocket passers. Difference between the two is Denver is doing more gameplan for Tebow (option style offense) - that's if I'm remembering young correctly. But what really matters is the situation that the teams themselves as a unit are rallying and winning games - it was never really Young and it isn't really Tebow we just tend to praise the qbs more so. When you win a game 13-10 in OT your qb didn't win you that game - your defense mostly did.

May be different players, but the situation is alot closer to the same. Tebow will be a serviceable backup in a few years.

Edit: yea te is a stretch. But I think he could pull off an up back position, especially since he would be a legitimate threat to throw the ball (since we're bringing college and high school offenses to the NFL and all)

Tebow believers can put their money where their mouth is.
Broncos are still 50-1 to win the superbowl.

If jesuschrist is truely guiding this man as his chosen one.......as he and many people seem to believe.
Throw the money you would spend on a single pooning session.......$10000 in your pocket.

Fact is the Broncos defence is keeping scored down. Last game was won on mistakes. Running out of bounds to save the clock. Then a 59 yard FG. Then in OT how close were the bears, the 33? Turnover, then a 51 yard FG.......and Tebow is the hero. Prater must be shaking his head.

and despite your criticism on his religious words,
actually i respect the hell out of people that have faith.

but i don't understand does god have an interest in the super bowl

and troy polomalu i understand is religions and he prays before and at the end of every game,
i respect and understand that more then a guy when ever he gets a microphone says i would like to thank my lord and saviour jesus christ.

from my understanding of christianty anyway, its about humilty.
there are chapters devoted in the bible about when you pray, go into your room close the door, shut the light out, then go into the closet and pray and worship that way were no one can see it.

the point dont make a show of your faith believe because that is what you feel, not to make a show that your better then some one or your faith is stronger then someone elses.

when people say things like tim tebow has, i wonder how deep is there faith why are they making a show of it.
as opposed to some one like troy polomalu who just obviously prays because he wants to and has faith
like i said i respect that alot more

i watched the show fear factor, what monday or something,
there was a mouthy guy on there that said and acted like he was just it, give me the money right now, i am the best these guys are just loosers.

the host of the show, just laughed,
he said he hosted the show for ten years, and the guy with the biggest mouth, is the first one off the show always.

and i wonder tebow has a big mouth about his faith, i wonder does he really understand his faith

The bad and the good about Tebow, the real Rocky of the NFL.

The bad is he is such a BIG spender. Geez! He blew all his US$ 2.5 Million signing bonus in 24 hours last year. Eat your hearts out MC Hammer.

The good is that he donated his bonus to various charities around the world. Making a difference in the lives of LOTS of human beings. :clap2:

Looks like if Elway has his way, Tebow will be an understudy to Peyton Manning next season. I personally would love to see Manning in Miami. That team has talent but is missing a QB who can lead. But something tells me Manning is not a Miami sort of guy. I think Denver could be more his pace and the Broncos are a legit contender with a healthy Manning at QB.

Word on the street is that Peyton may be looking at Seattle. Dude that would be awesome to have him on the coast.

Peyton would definitely be AWESOME in Denver and Tebow in Jacksonville. Even if Peyton doesn't choose the Broncos, Tebow should still go back to Florida and play for the Jaguars.
