Are you suggesting the NA Natives came from elsewhere and killed all the NA dinosaurs?and the natives should give the land back to the dinosaurs and go back to where they came from. ok man we cant really give anything back.
So criminal acts and atrocities like holocausts should be ignored and forgottenLMAO!
wow get over it.
that was a long long time ago. By people I don't know personaly.
Life will go on. so move on.
He should give it back and return to where he came from.
They may not have killed the dinosaurs but they did originate elsewhere. Are you suggesting the NA Natives came from elsewhere and killed all the NA dinosaurs?
I don't know where you come from but I'm white and I was born here, this IS where I come from. = )He should give it back and return to where he came from.
hahaha...btw i'm not a native {but of Euro origin} and not whining, although i might have a boneyeah maybe man, just maybe the natives came from somewhere else on a straw boat or log canoes and killed all the dinosaurs with their weapons of mass destruction. by the way, the vikings will have to give up the land and return it as well, and also the greeks to give back to the gods etc...... like stated above its so looooong ago, i couldnt give a fuck. yeah it may have been done in a barbaric way?? but im living here now, and ill be damned if i gotta give you my piece of land that i worked for. i guess this will be a life long fight for the natives, it seems they wont give up on this issue. by the way, arent we doling out enough for the reservation cost and tax exemptions and many other things you get? get over it, we share the land now, be a productive part of society and quit this whining.
I don't see how that gives you a right to live on stolen lands. By the law of justiceI don't know where you come from but I'm white and I was born here, this IS where I come from. = )
This is where my parents come from.
On my mothers side of the family this is where her parents come from.
Canada is where my mothers, parents, parents come from.
In your opinion did an injustice occur? And at what point in history could it have still been given back, if not today?yeah i know, but we are so far beyond that now. i mean the post couple above by smakyo hits it right on the head. who would we really be giving it back to??? there is justice, but then there is also statute of limitations, (im just throwing that in there) we are waaaaay to culturally diverse to just say "give it back"
Haha, LOL...thanks for laugh, anyway. Any more to add?i wouldnt be shy to say that how the natives were treated in the past was an injustice, however i strongly believe that we cannot give the land back. we all own it now. it is just as much mine as it is yours. i was born here, and i am entitled to ownership as well. so who would we be giving it back too? no one, cause it belongs to us all. thats why i say get over it, it happened so long ago. i think this argument is a total waste of time. the natives are being whiny babies about this. everyone and anyone could probably find something tied to them from history and try to claim ownership somehow! i bet if i looked hard enough i had ownership in microsoft and coca cola! maybe i should pester them too?!
Give me a break dude. Alright you want to get educated, let me educate you. The people that call England home are not in most cases native to that land, They're made up of Saxons, Franks, Atrebates, Gaul's to name a few. Are you to tell me that everyone in England has to trace their roots back to whatever tribe they were a part of before the founding of England as we now know it and go back to what is known as their original region?I don't see how that gives you a right to live on stolen lands. By the law of justice
this land still belongs to them. The song that says "This land is our land", etc is a
blatant lie.
Yes, well, Vancouver has become Hongcouver, and will soon become New Hong Kong {like New York}. At least this was not accomplished by theft, murder and genocide, which most here seem fine with ;No need to fret, lenny. It's all good. In a few more generations, the Chinaman and other current visible minorities will take over. In a few more generations, the white man will be the minority.
So, bottom line, because it has happened before it's ok, or so complicated to unravel to be unsolvable by a Perfect Being? Perhaps to a fragile limited weak mortal brain such as yours ; But you do agree that unjust thefts of lands, murders of nations and annihilations/holocausts of peoples have occurred, correct? That this is the bloody and pathetic history of mankind?Give me a break dude. Alright you want to get educated, let me educate you. The people that call England home are not in most cases native to that land, They're made up of Saxons, Franks, Atrebates, Gaul's to name a few. Are you to tell me that everyone in England has to trace their roots back to whatever tribe they were a part of before the founding of England as we now know it and go back to what is known as their original region?
How about the native tribes of the area now known as France, it's been a land that has been fought over for a very long time. Franks, Gauls, Goths, Visi-Goths, Vandals and even the Hun's called the land home before it's foundation of modern France. How about modern day Russians who for the most part are the desendants of early Scandanavian peoples. Russia was a make up of lot's of different nomadic tribes of Europe and Asia. What happens there? Do we test everyone to find some genetic link to the oldest set of bones we find burried in the region.
The reason your arguement is still an argument (and a weak one at that) is because in terms of history the European annex of North America is a fairly recent event and the record keeping was a little better then say the time when we communicated with cave drawings. If you go back far enough every bit of land on this earth has had it's "Native" tribes displaced by another tribe of people.
When you can present viable solutions to what you see as a problem, I may take you more seriously. In the mean time I really hope you don't try to test my knowledge of ancient geography and anthropology because that would be a losing battle for you.
