If it was a routine check, the MP should be happy to have their name disclosed. At least you know the cops won't be visiting for awhile.

I'm pretty sure the Mods have modified this or convinced the OP to do so with the threat of a ban. I could swear I saw this post earlier today naming the Kitten Club. Are they perhaps a paid advertiser? LOL

No, It had nothing to do with the mods. Anyways I'm just glad I wasn't caught with my pants down, no pun intended. I cant imagine how things would have turned out if that happened.

well if that happened, i would be blasting NWA's "fuck the police" from my iphone/blackberry/any mobile that you can play mp3 on... i know that probably sounded corny but i had to mention that before someone else takes that idea...

Out of courtesy for the MP. I didn't change anything else.
For your consideration I hope they have offered you the courtesy of a freebie! And it wouldn't have mattered if they caught you with your pants down. What would they charge you with? Frequenting a licensed establishment?

Between the legs of a HOT SP!!
Man you guys all get your panties in a twist over shit.

Brand new poster to the board and this is how he gets treated, nice.......and welcome to PERB. Cut the guy a bit of slack, geez. This guy is just a pooner that is pretty new to the game. Guys that have been around here forever forget how intimidating it can be to come on here and get bombarded like this. How about if we let him catch his breath and figure out how things work here.

Maybe if we started treating people with a bit of respect, stopped jerking their chain, and ask nicely we might get the answer to our question.

whatami, welcome to PERB, such that it is..................................................

i guess some people don't like some humor and suspense in their life.... oh ya, "whatami" don't regret your mistakes. learn from it cause, regrets makes a person weaker...

Well .. what a way to kill the mood, policeman busting through the door.

Anytime you call the police or they take your information down, they record everything you said and what went on into a little thing called the police database, it will remain there forever. Even pardons stay on the police database. It's not a criminal record, but if you're ever looking to get into law enforcement, fat chance.

on yer ignore list
like you owe them anything?

...TROLL ALERT...
well i guess i was part of the 'tough crowd'

i don't mind of somebody wants to protect another party, but if you want to do so, then ask the question in a 'theoretical' way. like this, "if a person was at an mp and LE pushed their way in, if that person gave LE some of their personal information, would there be any unpleasant repercussions?"

that way no names need be given because it is a theoretical question... and nobody will then get curious about who it might have been, because it was nobody.

but the op didn't ask the question that way, they asked it suggesting that it was an event that happened recently, to them. of course posters are going to get curious, and collectively they will dig out the facts. for op to try to retreat behind a veil of anonymity to 'protect' the reputation of the mp is just... well... ummmm... trollish!

i don't have a problem with 'newbies' (if they are indeed new, not just posting under another name) making some innocent blunders, but the op committed some serious blunders in logic, and that i do have a problem with

think before you post, maybe that should read think well before you post

and don't come whinging to me in pm about what i post, if you don't like it, say it here in the forum in front of everybody

You have nothing to worry about unless you are applying for a security clearance. Your info will be on the police computer system. Anytime you have dealings with Police they will see you are associated to that file and they can then read the file. If you are applying for a security clearance it will show up. Its not a criminal record but you still would have to explain yourself to them. Very embarrasing I'm sure. But if you have no need for a security clearance then you have no worries.

I would never go to a MP for that above reasons.

Well I've had my name in a few police files over the years and it doesn't come up when my name is run. I have security clearance every year for my job and I cross the border almost weekly.
