Your thoughts on the new immigration policies by the Liberals/Carney

They seem to be walking back the Trudeau policy of just letting everyone in (mostly from a specific part of the world) through international students and TFW.

What are your thoughts?

I work in a specific field that is heavily involved in international students (not directly related to colleges) so the company is now suffering from the cuts and further cuts of International students from this year and moving forward. Its a bit bitterweet. Our company had layoffs (thankfully I survived) but I also am aware that the immigration policies of the last 10 years have been insane and have caused wage suppression among many issues.

What are the current immigration policies, exactly.
Reading an article about birth tourism increasing dramatically, maybe that policy should be considered as well.
