WTF a VIRUS??!!

Running windows 2000... when I open up a page and let it sit idle for a short while, talking a few minutes and then I try to open a link the fuckin thing won't open and says something like unable to display page. WTF Did I do? Do I need to reconfig something?

If you can, go to a website that offers anti virus software and run one of their online scans - it's free and will ID a virus www.pccillin.com

Running my AVG free

Damn... it's still happening, some kinda timed thingy whereby I can't open pages after a short while

if your running a router then try just plugging your connection straight into the computer and see if that fix's it.
