Just saw this article last night, and it felt like I just showed up at the end of StarWars where the Death Star's been blown to smithereens, lol!
This was done in good intentions which I wholeheartedly agree, they wanted to wipe out all the stuff that was either child porn or borderline r@pey, hated that shit on there anyways.
But clearly also done for business reasons as well (losing Visa, Mastercard support). and actual allegations
What sucks was the way they went about it just wiping out all non-verified users/uploaders, ALOT of non-related content got lost in the fire, stuff done by indy performers and legit artists.

Now....if only Leolist did the same thing and blew away all the fake and bait&switch ads on there! :D:devilish: hahaha!

Thousands of those vids were uploads by porn collectors. The actual content creators were long gone so there was no way the consent could be verified.

It is not a good time for porn.

The conservative right never liked it, because perversion, religion, decency, etc.
The progressive left no longer supports it, because consent, objectification, trafficking, etc.

Did Pornhub actually do this though? I thought it's the users that upload. To be honest, I always found PH to be a little bit vanilla lol.

I can't help but feel like they are being unfairly targeted here...

There's much "worse" on other sites. Pornhub is just the more widely known one.

Pornhub is actually part of a group of sites and there is a parent company above them. They run almost all of the tube sites... we advertise with them, and you choose which of their properties you want to post your ads on. Pornhub, Youporn, Thumbzilla, Tube8, Extremetube, etc etc etc, it's all the same company.


xvideos is a different entity. not sure how many others there are, not many. i think PHs viewership is going to take a dive unless you are super into amateur stuff. anything classic, older etc gone seems like.

That's the thing, PH aren't the ones "posting" up said videos, it's all the users sneaking that crap on the site, and just like Youtube, it's a huuuuge job monitoring everything that gets hosted on their site. Heck, even Facebook's been caught having suicide or videos of someone getting killed before, it's up to their team (and fellow FB users to a point) to catch or report/flag that shit, and target it specifically.
What really sucks are the videos that weren't related to what they're trying to extinguish, also got doused out in the fire/purge because they decided to just wipe out all non-verified users/uploaders, which is the lazy way of doing things imo.

Where the heck can i go find classic 80s/90s porn now? and don't say Tom's Video! Hahahah

No notice. Just purged. There are still sex doll porn videos but since I am not a verified member my entire site is blank and it will not let me upload anything. It says I have to wait until they release applications for verification. I guess that counts me out. It was fun for a bit. lol. My doll does not look underage at all and there are still many verified doll sex videos. 20201216_184021.jpg

Turns out a big motivation came from the Class Action Lawsuit against girlsdoporn. The judgement against the two pornhub owners included having all of that content removed. There were minors, some rape scenes and coercion to follow through with some acts they didn’t originally agree to. Girls had second thoughts and were not permitted to leave.

That and Mastercard and Visa removal of payment services. Apparently one owner is on the run out of the US.

Sorry to hear that man, I know it must suck having spent time on the video and uploading it only to get it yanked with no warning at all.
I'm sure there are alot of other PH members and artists who were wiped out in the sweep even though their media had nothing to do with the investigation.
I particularly will miss some of the insane quality animators on there, nothing like seeing some of you're fave video game characters getting it on, haha!

It is nice. Mostly pictures, some nice GIF's. But I noticed there are more younger girls and many (nice looking) trannies. Not really my thing really. Instead of teenies, I am more into women and a bit of voluptuous bodies.
