Would you use a credit card for a session?

There's a notorious provider now touting CC payments in her ads. Based on reviews and track record, I would say it's risky at best and likely foolhardy to trust your credit card info with that particular individual.

Made me think, would you ever really even want to use a credit card? Discretion, paper trail, fraud, I can think of many reasons why not and very few, if any in support of doing so. Opinions welcome, let's keep it civil please.

I had expected a bunch of no answers. Didn't see any ladies weighing in. In the provider's shoes, I would be very leery of accepting credit cards, as chargebacks could become a real issue and banks are not very SW friendly. Seems like a bad idea all around and especially given the provider who is offering it, someone with a notoriously bad track record here.

Will you get any? How many ladies actually participate in lounge topics related to how many of them are on PERB ( AD sections ). Would be great of most of them did.

I’ve taken credit cards since I started working. It’s no different, then giving your credit card at a restaurant or anything else.

I had them in the machine, they stick in their card, enter the pin number, and I sent them a receipt from my phone either to their email or phone. Whatever they prefer.

I never touch the card. I never see the number. And all my business transactions only show the last 4 digits of the card.

it’s exactly the same as making a payment with a credit card at any other business.

There is a slight difference, for example I gave my card to one of established mobile chain, it was my first ever purchase with that new card (thats how I knew it was that chain itself where fraud happened. I came to know next day that I had two unauthorised transations. When contacting bank you can easily say where do you suspect the fraud happened but I dont think its gonna fly if you use it at unregistered business or for pooning. Canadian law says selling sex is legal but buying is not.

My thoughts exactly. As long as it's illegal to purchase, I wouldn't.

I just started taking credit card via Square. My clients love it as they can earn points. I can take credit card deposits online and have a chip reader in person. I can issue receipts and have a website that looks like a consulting firm so you can write off my sessions or have an explanation for suspicious partners. I haven’t posted the website ANYWHERE linked to Charlee, I only give it directly to clients who want to use it.

Just wondering as I honestly do not know but if they are writing off a session does that not make you an acessory to fraud?

It makes the client guilty of fraud. Highly unlikely they'd go after the provider as an accessory, it's not up to her what he does with his receipts.

“Section 23 of the Criminal Code of Canada defines the offence of being an accessory after the fact, which involves assisting a person who has committed a crime to escape punishment or otherwise evade justice.”
If you chose to write off my services using my parody site and I was contacted by the CRA I wouldn’t lie. So, no. 😂
