Yamamoto is good but no pitcher is invincible. The Jays have seen him once now and their hitting coach is one of the best. It is a game of adjustments. I'd like to see a rematch with Yamamoto on the mound, which may well happen.Yamamoto has 2nd 9 inning game! the complete game has gone the way of the rotary phone and he's tossed 2 in a row.Gausman also pitched a solid 6 innings I don't think either team had a guy on base thru 4th thru 6th innings?/Jays for sure didn't Yamamoto retired the last 20 he faced.
Jays will roll out Sherzer for Game 3, and if he can duplicate his effort in Seattle,Jays could take it.
Game 4 starter for LA will be Ohtani, likely against Bieber, not too hopeful there
Game 5 then would expect a repeat of Game 1, Yesavage vs Snell, Snell threw an awesome 8 innings vs Milwaukee,if he does that again Jays could be in trouble.
I anticipate a Game 6 in Toronto,which would be Yamamoto again,yikes.
Lots of good ball ahead!
I would hope that's the case but in Game 2 they had some success 1st time through the lineup,2 plus innings.Yamamoto is good but no pitcher is invincible. I tried watching that baseball game for a few minutes and fell asleep waiting for something to happen.Well that was not very exciting. Dodgers finally their sea legs under them. Look out.
Home runs are exciting,no doubt, but students of the game can also appreciate top level pitching and defenseI tried watching that baseball game for a few minutes and fell asleep waiting for something to happen.
Even a lacklustre hockey game between two mediocre teams is more entertaining to watch.
I never watch baseball till the playoffs. Same with NFL and NBA. I watch NHL all year because of that fabulous skating and skills it takes to play nhl levels.I tried watching that baseball game for a few minutes and fell asleep waiting for something to happen.

It's a slow burn that is an acquired taste.Home runs are exciting,no doubt, but students of the game can also appreciate top level pitching and defense
Yes just gotta hope Jays can chase their starter by the 6th inning like in game 1 and put the pressure on the Dodgers bullpen. It's about to get really interesting. 3 games on consecutive days. The bullpens are going to get a major workout. Theoretically, that favors the Jays, the Dodgers bullpen sucks.
