I would love to hear any thought or interesting ideas that people may have or are working room.

I am moving in a week, and was thinking of trying something totally new.

My current room is pretty much black and red and white with mirrors.I could do that again, because that is pretty standard, but would love to hear any new concepts or ideas.

I was initially thinking of kind of a jungle theme. Lots of plants the waterfall, but that is pretty much how the rest of my place is going to be, so that might be redundant.

Was also thinking of putting my jellyfish tank in the room because they grow beautifully in the light, but wasn't sure if people would think that was weird.

There will definitely be cool mirrors and contemporary art, but would live to hear any ideas you creative geniuses have ?

Thank you, and wishing an awesome week to all!

I like the idea of creating an escape so something like a jungle theme or under the sea is a great idea. Or I might pick a color, white lets say, and just do white on white on white. Some people think mirrors on the ceiling is tacky but I think its awesome. Whatever you decide have fun with it!

From a guy's perspective, a sturdy bed, clean sheets, lube and condom within an arm's reach, music may be, a bottle of water would be nice. Oh yea, A/C, during summer season. Although colors or themes don't matter but how about white though?

I like the way you want some input on suggestions!
Don't jump on me for this-
With today's advanced technologies, you could probably have a few pre-packaged themes at the press of a button at a very minimal cost to yourself.
I think there is an app. out there where you could change the displays on all your walls at once? Add some appropriate background music/sounds.
For your jungle theme-display background videos of the jungle complimented by animal sounds of the jungle.
Perhaps a 180 turn to a church in the 15th century with monks chanting in the background.
Or a fantasy sequence to a harem in the Sahara.
I think it's very possible. Or maybe it would be too distracting for all involved-

Agree with the above but of course some mirrors.

From my honest perspective......If you were in the same room with me, and we had each other's undivided attention.....the walls could be lined with tar paper, and this Cowboy wouldn't even notice.
Having said that......what about a red paisley pattern, with Ox blood leather furniture, and a chaise lounge off in one corner, and distressed hardwood flooring?

I know guys....I'm very straight....I just know how too put together a room like a Gay designer.

In terms of jungle style, there's a lot of cool stuff you can do. Google "tropical boho design" if you haven't heard of it. It can be very lush and sexy feeling. The only problem is that tropical themes are pretty in style right now it could look kind of dated in a few years (the same way those bedrooms with black and silver arabesque wallpaper and chandeliers look so 2009 now)

Well now, I do enjoy a nice chaise lounge...

I've always liked Erika's places. Maybe you should visit her spot in surrey for some ideas. Maybe we should all go together

You're sweet! But really, of the places I am currently entertaining, my favourite is the place in Vancouver...which is full of warm wood & greenery!

Angel, the jellyfish tank sounds amazing for creating a focal point in a room with a marine theme!

Yes she is a head turner and I visit as frequently as I can. Funny how this started out as one gal's thread and now we're into something else! I've never met the other Lady but just love Erika.

Well let's get it back on track. Angel is as classy as her name, sweet & charming. "Advertised age" be damned...she's a stunner whose personality is as lovely as her smile.

I had a few more thoughts last night re the undersea theme. Rather than something out of Disney, I was envisioning something like a sunken temple to Aphrodite...some Mediterranean blue bedding (mmmmm satin bedding...), some big plants, maybe even a few pillars? Some well placed mirrors, your jellyfish tank, maybe some raku fish & starring Angel as the priestess et voila!
